Strangely you seemed faster this time around, you didn't felt as if anything in you had changed so it was probably the stranges laws of this world that were alterated to allow you to reach higher speed.

I'd go back to what I was doing with the sugar and pull out a plastic bag from where they are kept on the device. I'd plug it in to let it warm up.

As the machine finished warming up I'd turn it on and pour sugar into a compartment in them middle of the bowl that made up most of the machine. After a minute the compartment would start spinning, and the melted sugar would come out in the form of wispy sticky strands.
"If I may ask... just so I can get to know a bit more about you guys, what are your relationships like with the others? Friendly or ambient, something more or less..? if it's personal I won't pry. If you do tell me I'll tell you a bit about myself too."
Once the strands had started to look like a puff in the machine, I'd scoop it out and pop it in the bag, preparing a second one for when the process repeated.
