Loki and Night were looking at each other, their eyes doing the arguing for thier mouths.

August tried to look as little like Red's next meal as possible.

"Calm down Jay and I'll listen,'' Scarlet strains her ears and feels the ground for the wolves. Hoping not to hear them her ears slowly move from one side of her head to the other.

"Well, I guess this party may seem strange to you, but maybe it's the way you were raised. I was raised to accept anyone whether they be as small as an ant or as big as a giant. You seem strange to me... Hanging out with others that aren't sane... Unless some of you are, and in that case I am so sorry for assuming. I think... You... you want to be included and feel like you belong because you're all the same. It's just a guess and I could be totally wrong... But I have a feeling we can call a truce without forcing either of us into a position we don't want. And not eating my friends." Grey points out, trying to keep peace between the two groups without joining that pack or having her friends being eaten.
Maybe she shouldn't have voiced her thoughts, but she was trying to put herself in his paws and try to see why he wouldn't like a life with those that aren't all exactly like him... Maybe it was because he didn't know the friends and how they met and what they were like. So, she tries to explain the best she could, "I should like to stay in my pack. We each play a part to round the pack out to be the best it can. However, we're all equal in this pack. All have a say. We are currently looking for a few of them that got lost, but we'll find them eventually. We don't leave anyone behind. And I would protect them all equally, no matter what they be."

"I think we're fine... Maybe they've caught the rest of the group, Jay... Maybe we should go... just to check and make sure that they're all right?" Hunter suggests.

Scarlet paces slightly with her fur sticking up, "It's up to Jay not me."

Red's eyes narrowed and he grunted, which left the other wolves stepping closer. Even if they didn't seem to follow the conversation, they definitely listened to Red as their alpha. "You say you don't want to make enemies of us, but I think you're still making a mistake." Snorting, he stared Gray down for another second before turning his eyes to the little mouse that seemed intent on making herself known.

"I understand that you have your own little thing going on here. I shouldn't have gotten excited at hearing someone like me. Well, I know a pack led by a mouse won't survive this place anyway. Have you even seen the witch?" he questioned.

Mrs. Mouse tilted her head, deciding for now to ignore the insults slung by Red. It was clear that he was young and prideful, but at least not overtly aggressive. "What witch are you talking about?"

Why is it up to me? Jay muttered. I havent got hearing or a nose that will tell me if wolves are about to attack." He shook head. "But you know how I feel about not staying here. The question is, do we run after the pack from behind, or go up and see if we can come out in front?" It wouldn't hurt to have some advantage.

"Him obviously." Loki nudged Night, who glared at him. "No you." And then they started arguing....with their tails this tiem, thank goodness

"I guess I can go up ahead and find out but truth be told I would rather be upwind from the pack," Scarlet says, "but maybe it's just my worrying." Her fur makes her look like a red porquipine with big ears.

"We are not lead by one person... Er animal, alone. And I really don't want to make enemies. I think we all have too much to think and better things to put our energy to." Grey points out. "And, no. I haven't even heard of a witch."

Hunter thought slowly. "Maybe if we... Just go where the wolves were headed and see where we end up. Maybe then we can meet up with the rest of the group?"

"Good idea Hunter," Scarlet agrees, "Hopefully the rest of the group will be there as well."
