Elysetta's eyes widened in surprise. "You... you were...?" she whispered, staring at the chip in awe. Very carefully, she took the chip in her white hands. The chip shined an emerald green, and immediately, the color in her hand returned. Slowly, her entire body regained its normal color. She took the circlet off of her head and discarded the simple emerald that was inside. With trembling hands, she placed the chip inside and returned it to its spot. She returned her gaze to you, and there was a genuine smile on her face. "Malak Khaleel, I don't think you realize how much this means to me... I am forever in your debt."

(Sorry; I saw yours and Somn's posts and then completely forgot about them x-x. The past few weeks have been hectic ahah.)
Slowly, a crocodile appeared before you. His skin was much darker than any other crocodile you've seen. "Now you see me," he breathed.

Ruk frowned, and shook his head. Then he hesitated, and pointed to his left ring finger. The goblin nodded fervently. "Yes! Ring!" he gestured towards Ruk's finger.

Julien wracked his brain trying to figure out what the goblin meant. He took a couple steps backward to stand beside Ruk, pointing towards the orc's hands. "His ring?" he asked. "Or some other ring??"
(I actually have no idea what the goblin is trying to say ._. so Julien's confusion isn't just for show, it's because I seriously have no clue what's going on haha-)

Malak stood back and watched in awe as Elysetta took the stone and placed it into her circlet.
The color returned to her face and she seemed to have a glow about her that hadn't been there previously. He shouldn't stare, and yet he couldn't look away.
"It was my pleasure to be of service," he told her formally, bowing.

Your wings have disappeared by now, and you are of normal size. You hardly even noticed it change as you had entered the clearing. Elysetta smiled again. "If you will have me, I would like to be of assistance to you in your journeying. I've done enough mourning, I think," she decided.

Malak stomach fluttered slightly as she mentioned mourning. He wanted so badly to directly ask what she meant, but it felt imprudent. He smiled when she offered to journey with him, not that she could see it due to his face scarf.
"I would be honored," he told her, "And I am sorry for your loss."
