That sounded like her alright. He began traveling towards it, not very far behind him. He didn't know why, but as he approached the palace, something felt a bit...off. Not including the ambush they had went through not long ago.

(that sounds fun. Every god character I've made has turned out ridiculously fun. Like the time god I have currently sitting on a spaceship using his powers to cheat at gambling with people who was based off another retired time god villain of mine who used to determine people's fates by the outcome of chess games.

The other one I had was a fire god from a setting where everyone was a god who literally flipped a volcano when someone in the party pissed him off.

So I think I'm going to work on this angel dude for here and cycle Armias and Ziva out to be side characters or something if more than Arkaos gets dragged into this whole revolt.)

Dread? He tended to feel that a lot at this time of day. It was a familiar enough feeling to put it to the back of his mind as he made his way outside the gates, sniffing around slightly to check who resided in the area.

(yeah, shes amazing. She killed her half brother, who was the king of the gods and became the queen. And locked his wife aka her life-long enemy whos also her half sister in like...a shadow hole thing. )

The guards were still out patrolling in large groups, but Gallagher ignored them and simply scaled the wall, dashing towards the forest.

(and, it would be interesting if Mr. Grand duke the revolt master tried going after other countries too)

But....well, I suppoe you could say that our knight has been with us for so long that even know my brother cannot seem to graps the fact they he is of higher rank then she. She is also meant for our safety, and....my brother tends to pay very little attention to that detail."

Diane was now very confused. Very, confused. " Uhhmm...hm...So...wait. If there are 2 heirs, who will become king? or queen? " Honestly, this is why she didn't travel out of the empire. It was a confusing world out there.

Lowell was careful to avoid the guards, slipping into the forest over the gates.
The rattling of him scrambling up probably attracted some attention but he had already claws his way into a thick oak tree to conceal himself in the darkness.
He used his nightvision and nose to scout around for the Empress, not wanting to make a sound until he was sure it was safe.

Gallagher came across the dead body of a guard that had accompanied the Empess. He glanced up deeper into the forest, hearing the faint sound of fighting and the strong smell of blood. It was safe to say it worried him strongly. He quickly moved towards it, drawing his weapon. Rather than waiting to get there, he threw his knife, the blade cutting through an assassins neck and getting stuck in a tree.

There were a good 10 assassins, 9 counting the one he had just killed. Out of the 12 guards that had accompanied her, only 1 remained. The Empress was alright. She wasn't too wounded, since she had worn her armor and brought weapons. She was, however, covered in blood. That clearly wasn't her own.
