(I still do this with OCs. Sometimes they end up so different between versions they end up a new character. Definitely happening here with Lowell because the OC he was based on is a lot more arrogant and reckless. The only thing they have in common now other than a shared alias is the fact they are both demonic wolfbeasts.

Somehow wolfman is pretty civil. He'll probably end up replacing the original. XD

That being said, I definitely have characters almost impossible to port to other settings without totally removing their 'gimmick' as a character so to speak.

I mean, I could throw the angel guy as is here with a few tweaks, but he'd stick out just by being an angel among humans, I think. I'd have to just change his backstory to give him a reason to be around.)

(Same. Nicote has been split so many times-Lio Johanson, Alexander Deyano, Alexander Demerit, and Alexander Oliver who's really not an OC but whater-all came from him alone. Overuse? I think not ><>)

(i've definitely completely converted my main dude X from a demonic prince who could open holes to new universes to.. a former alien senator and now first officer of a starship full of galactic peace officers. It's uh. Something.

He's relatively stayed the same outside of changing his species and backstory, but moving him from a fantasy modern setting to a sci-fi one was definitely a jump.
I still throw him around in random settings just for a laugh. My mental canon is that he never actually changed at all and he's just messing with people.)

(sometimes i used the same persona for characters. Like Seraphina 2.0. She was so funny xD)

"Ah." Nanita nodded. "I...couldn't sleep." She explained herself. As far as she knew, Nicote was still making a ruckus with Phoneicia.

(I do that all the time too honestly, for better or worse. Most of the time I find a character just takes on its own personality as soon as I start writing them. It's annoying sometimes when I plan them out to be a certain way and the opposite happens.)
