Once he figured the coast was clear he walked inside, looking around at the labeled plants for the 2 they were looking for.

Lowell skimmed through the labels with haste, keeping his hand over his sword as it pulsed.
He suppressed a growl but could plainly pick up the footsteps of servants making their way down to the greenhouse.

They'd need to hurry up.
He found one matching the label, torching it with a quick blast of electric.

He found the second one, and it turned black and crumbled. He spared a leaf, however, and took it into his pocket.

He gestured up towards the skylight, with a motion saying, 'lets go.' He then jumped the way up there, his hands catching on the outer rim and pulling himself up, then jumping back to the wall, around to the other side.

Lowell hopped up behind him as the door cracked open, pulling himself over the wall and down hard on his feet on the other side.

That was.. almost too easy. Nothing like breaking into the royal palace after all.
He found it slightly odd that Gallagher seemed so well prepared, but compared the antics of his former 'partner', it was refreshing to not have his life constantly endangered.

He turned and stopped in his footsteps. There were soldiers. A lot of soldiers. It was safe to say they had walked into a trap. However, they did their job. They got rid of the plants that could harm the empress, so if Gallagher died here today, he would not mind.

And there it was. Expected as usual.
Trap or not, at this rate, he'd really have that hag's head after he cut his way out of here.

He couldn't hold back a roar at this point as he bared his teeth in anger and snarled as the blade's power gripped at him.
He drew it from its shealth, holding it at the ready as it crackled with demonic and electric energy.

The soldiers seemed slightly taken aback at the appearance of the wolfman, but there was no time for any of that. Gallagher had long since drawn his own weapons, and lunged towards the nearest one, stabbing him in the neck before leaping to the next.

They had a very slim chance of making it out. There were at least 50 of the soldiers, and while Gallagher possessed dark magic, and Lowell was a werewolf, these were highly trained guards of the ducal house Macelio. There was a reason it was so easy for Diana to marry the emperor. She came from a highly esteemed military family.

(I almost burned a palace down you think I can't handle an army?)

Lowell was struggling to calculate their odds in his head as he sliced through a soldier, torching another nearby with an arc of electricity sizzling off his armor. He took a hit to the jaw, clamping his teeth down on the soldier's arm, causing the man to drop his sword in panic as he was used as a makeshift shield against the other soldiers trying to charge Lowell.

Thanks certainly need to make a break for it. He dropped the disemboweled soldier, shielding himself with a wide arc of electricity off his forearms as he focused on holding back the swords with his own.
"Find a break in their forces and let me know. We need to run for it." He barked at Gallagher.

Nicote was currently trying to get Phoenicia to let him "just go for a short sprint around town because I'm dying of boredom".

Gallagher nodded, slicing off the entire head of one soldier and the right arm of another. Their numbers were diminishing, quite quickly than he had expected. But he could hear more soldiers approaching, way more.

He cut down 2 more soldiers, with no others to fill the gap he had just created. He whistled loudly over to Lowell, keeping the escape route clear of soldiers while moving towards it. If those reinforcements arrived, then they most definitely wouldn't have a chance.

Diane(E) had also just so happened to be walking around the palace, on her usual late night stroll.
