"Uh, hello?" I say to them even though I know I won't get a response.

" Not from who ... from what ..." She said giggling " But you don't have to wory about those tiny things right now..."

Outside of a strange echo when you spoke, there was no answer but you could feel that there was a story behind all of this.

"Well okay, if it's fine can I pick up my flashlight? I promise I won't turn it on or point it at you," she said calmly wanting her permision instead of diving at it, but she didn't dare say the last part of her unfinished sentence which was, unless I have to.

I guess he overshot his action and since the program wasn't finish the 'i-look-at-you-through-the-screen' part from a blind was enough to stop it dead on his track.

There was a pause and then the sound of claws clicking against the floor as she moved away. "Fine but try anything and you will learn how many teaths i have..."
