Metal sprang from the shadow realm and attacked Mermydon. He was angry that he had healed Grim Rose but then Grim Rose nipped his leg. "Stop it!" Grim Rose growled. "Don't attack my new friends!" Metal stood shocked and then he frowned. He sat down and Grim Rose turned away from him. She walked away.

The kelpie's lateral line system was a wonder, Mermydon noticed Kanakwella's choice to stop and he too stopped within a few inches of her position. He listened to the princess, giving her all of the attention her station deserved; trying to memorizing her facial features and movements intimately. He appreciated her offer of askance. Then she surprised him when she had called him handsome. He hadn't really had much interaction with females of his kind after the desolation of Vorpar; only the sea-witch. He never had to think of how he looked, and he didn't really heed his sisters who always teased him as a pretty-colt! But his future queen's statement and subsequent behavior gave him reason to believe it was true.

It was inappropriate for anyone to see a mare of court blush or be embarrassed in front of mixed company, therefore Mermydon cover over her shoulders with his wing-fin and spread it forward to cover her face so her nervousness was hid. He didn't have to see her face, his lateral lines picked up the chemical change from her body so he and any other schooling kelparie would know and be mindful. He was flattered, she was crushing on him. "You are very kind my queen." He said lowering his voice under his wing and close to her ear. "No filly half as beautiful as you ever called me handsome." It wasn't a lie, because sister's didn't count. "I wish to learn everything about you, even if we must share with one another in secret." He nuzzled her neck for a moment before continuing. "I beg you not to fear me. You have my word, when you and I are in private, you may speak freely without fear of, AAARRRRGH!!!" Letting his guard down to try and swoon his future mate was a costly mistake! Out of Mermydon's own shadow, Metal struck and sank his maw into Mermydon's left fetlock. It hurt like the ******ens and Mermydon reared up out of the water instinctively trying to kick metal off of him. It bled pretty profusely after he was freed forcing the stallion to 'quick heal' before the water sprites got a taste of his blood in the water column.

He wasn't really sure which disgusted him more, that Metal caught him off guard, or that Grim Rose actually called him a friend! Equally as embarrassing was that both events happened in front of his fellow kelparies. To top it all off he was so violently emotional that how he felt could be noticed even into the shadow realm. At the moment, if he could snort fire, he would've emulated both ryoris with a blast of his nostrils.

"I am sorry for his profound behaviour." Grim Rose said. "He needs to learn that the shadow realm is not everything this world is!" Metal bat at Grim Rose but she seemed to have enough of him. He got whacked in the face by Grim Rose.

Little Red~ Shore Line~ with Meir

The Bulbori's ears perked up when she heard the meantime of an adventure. Maybe they could help! After all she lived for a good adventure, and who knows maybe they would come across Deigo when they did. She looked to the pup and patted his fluffy head. "Come my child let us see what all of this yelling is about." She said which excited the pup.
"Alright!" Meir yipped running circles around the rabbit like animal as she limped towards the source of the words. It was the Kelpairi from the day before, the one that had wished to eat her. She motioned for the pup to stay put, which wasn't hard seeing he was frozen in fear, before she made her way up to the beast. With a small paw she waited for him to finish talking before tapping his scales with a clawed finger in order to get his attention.

So hot was Mermydon's anger toward Metal that he hadn't paid attention to Little Red's approach. His wing fin had landed in front of Kanakwella almost protectively, making him look very big while hiding the princess, and subsequently Aleria, though she wasn't as close to shore as the other two. If the green mare was lying in ambush, he had just provided a great screen for her to disappear and make it ready. With a small paw she waited for him to finish talking before tapping his scales with a clawed finger in order to get his attention.

He snapped out of his rage with the smacking of his scales, his head shook a little then he looked down at where Little Red was tapping him. He realized that there was a veritable prey buffet looking to him for direction! Alas, it wasn't in the directions he would've preferred and like Aleria, he was beginning to feel that urge to take a kill. Making two instinctive predator behaviors he had to curb in as many minutes. Finally he gazed down his long muzzle into Little Red's face and a smirk formed upon his lips. The very creatures he had only just been talking about had materialized out of thin air, and he intended to capitalize on it.

"Hello again, bold one." Mermydon said to Red. "It cannot be chance that you just happen to show up as I was wondering where you had gotten to, and yet here you be bringing the very pink morsel who had only managed to escape from me three days past. Did you bring him here as an offering to join us in our adventure?" It was difficult to tell if he was being serious at the moment, but he continued before she could rebuff his comment about Meir, by facing Geb. "Here's a fine thing for you Bulbori. A sassy female of your kind, she's bold and brave and would make you good company if not a fine companion. I'll allow her to come along if it will encourage you to join me." He told the bulbori fighter. "Perhaps we'll get lucky and you can busy her bold attitude on a brood of leverets, rather than my kinds dietary habits."

Metal hissed at Grim ignoring everything else. Grim Rose ignored him in anger.

Geb ~~ Male ~~ Adult ~~ Currently near the coastline

He stood still in silence while watching the entire party of predators. A nixi, some weird foggy creatures and then those weird, unsightly qitaris. Out of the courner in his eye he saw something black and red move in a fashion that caught his attention quickly. That limping jump-like movement is from a injured bulbori for sure. As his clear brightgreen eyes landed on the female, his eyes followed her movements a movement. It was quickly clear to him that this female was used to the world and how it treats one of their type, a pray and to top it off, a female. Her movements was confident, calm and collected as she aproiached the one he was talking to. The ear closest to the female bulbori twitched a bit to the sound of her steps before it turned to the male he hold a conversation with. Cautiously he looked at the pink Zolnixi pup before his atention went to the male once more. "I do apreciate the offer, however I dont think the offer is yours to make." he commented to the male, with what could only be described as a sour tone. "I will acompany you on your jeurney, however I would have to get a pledge that neither me nor the female, if she wants to follow will be harmed. In otherwords you will have to lend protection when you can." he said straight to the point.








Mwindo ~~ male ~~ In the dessert ~~ packless ~~ adult

He looked at the fiery female a moment before looking at Diego. "How can I be sure that your friends will not turn on me to take my life? Or my ... friends life? Packs you do not belong to is not to be trusted lightly, specially those of predators young girl. And to top it of the day will be scolding and the sun unforgiving, so untill the moon take its ruling on the sky I will not leave the cave. There is no way I will take both me and Diego here to a death thats worse than starwing. Beeing slowly grilled by the sun is no pleasent feeling I asure you" he said in a calm collected manner. His eyes looked out to the sun. "Now come in here before the sun makes you ill from heat" he said nodding to the sand next to him. The poor young female will kill her self outside in the harsh sun.

The female Bulbori's ears fell back some as she narrowed her eyes at the predator. "No I did not. He is mine to protect and not yours to eat." She said her voice low and venomous. "If you so as lay a fun on him, I'll make you pay." Eyes still narrowed she fluffed the fur on her chest out a bit to calm herself. "Now as for this adventure, where exactly are we going?" Red asked leaning on the Kelpairi's leg some in order not to touch her injured paw to the ground. There was a male Bulbori here, she could smell him, but she had no time for him, she was on a mission to find her friend after all.

Diego- Desert Cave with Heroine and Do

He was confused by what had unfolded before him. This female nixi had came and suddenly he was the males friend? Predators had a weird way of telling whom they called friend. But alas he was right, they didn't need to be out in the sun, it was too hot out there. "He is right me amigo, the sun is hot and unpleasant no animal should have to spend their time out there when a cave waits here for them. Come, join us."
