Emily gave up bowed her head and walked out defeated she always failed when she tried to help people 'watch your backs for anything suspicious' was all she said before walking out and sitting down to look up at the sky. It had always made her feel welcome and not lonely but having Ellitt around change her thinking of strangers

Malak took quite a long time considering the question. As he pondered he ended up staring rather imprudently at Elysetta, lost in his own thoughts. In the end he simply shrugged.
"I'm afraid I don't have a real answer for you," he admitted, his brows furrowing in thought, "I suppose that you are the first person with whom I've spoken more than a handful of words to since leaving my homeland. Our similar situations cause me to feel a certain kinship towards you. I suppose to be perfectly honest...I simply can't stand the idea of you being in such a situation without trying to do what I can to help you. I have no further explanation to give."
Julien spun in a circle, surveying the land with his eyes. "Well," he said finally, with a shrug. "I guess we may as well follow it. It could lead us to another town where we could get better directions."

Ellitt sat beside you. "You okay?" he asked.

She seemed hesitant for a moment, as if she was deciding whether or not she believed you. "Well. We need more humans like you in the world then," she huffed. "There is one way I can retain my magic without having access to the stone constantly. I'd need a teardrop shaped carving from the stone. Doesn't need to be any bigger than a thumb," she disclosed.

Still stunned by his own revelations, Malak listened intently to every word Elysetta said. It sounded simple enough in theory, but he knew there would be many obstacles between them and that stone.
He still wasn't entirely sure why he was so determined to help her, he had not lied in that regard. They had only just met, and yet in the same way he had known he had to leave home, he knew that he had to help this woman.
"So we must journey to your clan's home," he said, "Is there a way to approach undetected?"

Elysetta broke into a laugh, looking at you strangely. "You're joking, right? Pixie coves are of extreme security. It's not even guards security. It's the fact that only pixies and pixie-enabled other beings can even enter. Do you know how small a pixie village is?" she asked.

Malak huffed in frustration. She certainly seemed to delight in contradicting him. He tried his best not to glower and instead began pacing in short strides. There had to be a way...
"So what would be your suggestion?" he asked, "You would not have divulged such information if you didn't believe there was a way that I could help."

Elysetta frowned again, crossing her arms back over her chest. "This is true. I, uh... I cannot enter. I can shrink down to my smaller form again, but I do not have my glow. And my lack of glow with my obvious molting wings, they'd know I was exiled. But you... You don't have big, bulky, dying wings. I can shrink you down, and even though you won't have a glow, you can try to sneak in," she explained.
