Emrys gave a quiet laugh at how ironic their joking was, considering she really was a princess.
Although her face a saddened a little at Averill's answer. He was really alright with tossing away his own hopes and dreams for his siblings? Don't get her wrong, she admired that, but she felt pity at how awful life would be for him.
"Yeah. I just hope I'm not here for that day." She replied softly, before heading into the stables. The custom collar spoke with one of the stable slaves, and after she was finished with the conversation, she motioned Averill towards two stalls.
"You have the grand decision of which horse you would prefer to ride. This lovely white mare named Fleur, or this stunning brown stallion named Eldridge, your highness." She presented them in a playful manner, exaggerating her hand gestures when she did so.

Amias, still smiling a little, stepped back from Riften to let him calm himself down. He didn't want to overwhelm him, even if it was highly amusing to do so. Plus... He didn't even know if Riften swung that way, so maybe his slight flirting wasn't super appreciated. Still, it made his heart flutter slightly when he saw Riften react so much to a simple compliment.
Still, he knew she should stop for his own sake as well. He had already broken his rules of not getting attached to anyone in this place, and he didn't want to push that self-made rule any further. People died here, every day. Plus, Ekon would eventually find out. He didn't want that, for himself or for the elf. In all reality, that terrified him. For once this dreary castle had some light in it thanks to Riften.
"Your merciful nature is largely appreciated, I'll never forget your kindness." He joked, occupying himself with a rose bush that spiraled upwards due to how the bush was cut. It amazed him how plants could be shaped like that.

Odelina sighed. "Liddy, I... ahm.. We don't have to..." She mumbled. She looked around the room. She laughed a bit. Her laugh was a bit nervous. She sat back down on the bed. "Besides, we probably have lots else to do." She said.

He stayed silent as the custom collar was speaking to the others, focusing mainly on trying not to look like he was glaring at the stable slaves as he watch them from affar. He smiled at Yerik act as the young slave presented the horses." I'll take the stallion then, no raison to keep the stereotype of the prince on a white horse." Averill added the last part playfully, he had no real preference both horses would be just as good, the only raisoning behind this choice was to make a decision and maby be a bit funny at the same time.

Emrys laughed at Averill's comment about princes on white horses.
"Fleur for me, and Eldridge for you, got it." She got the saddle and reigns from another room, placing it on both horses, making sure everything was put on correctly. She only knew how to do this because of her brother, he taught her how to ride. She gently coaxed both horses out of their pens, smiling triumphantly at the prince.
"All ready for you, your highness. It should only take us about fifteen minutes to get into town."

He was a bit surprise to see that the young slave was so good with horses, usualy assigned slaves would go fetch one of those that were working at the stable and let them handle the animals. " You did a good job with the sadles, i am sure those two are itching to see the sky by now, let's not make them wait too long." He was a bit woried of possibles embushes on the way but he told himself that with the horses it would be fine.

Nicote raised his eyebrows from behind his book. "need a bandage or something?"

Emrys grinned, putting her foot on the stirrup before swinging herself up and over Fleur's back. She gently took hold of the reigns, clicking her tongue a few times to calm her. She was such a pretty animal, it was a shame she was trapped here like the rest of the slaves.
"Thank you. I was raised around animals. I enjoy their company." The custom collar looked to the open doors that lead into a dirt road, and back to the prince.
"I'm excited, I haven't seen town in a long time!"

Following along he hop on his own horse riding so they would be side by side. "We are two in this case, last time i went there i was fifteen, it have been a while since i had a raison to go."
