Malak was shocked to find himself wanting to reach out and grab her as she turned away, he even went so far as to start putting his hand out, but he caught himself before it was barely up in the air and brought it straight back down to his side. What could possibly have come over him?
"I am very sorry," he said, not able to think of something else, "As a human myself I admit I have a hard time grasping how wholly bad that would be, but I can tell the thought upsets you. Is there nothing I can do to help?"
