"What else are we going to do, throw a party?" she asks with a laugh as she hurries past you to open the door. "We'll want to head to the magic section, I'm sure there's at least multiple books on what we're looking for."

I smile slightly again and enter through the door, looking around the vast building for said section.

There are several possible theories about this occurrence. Most prominently, that the observer was merely making up a story. They were the only witness, as there was no one around at that time to confirm or deny their experience. Further information is clearly needed to develop any theory, but it is possible that there may have been a malfunction in the lighthouse, wiring that sparked, a reflection, teenagers playing a prank - really, with so little information, the possibilities are limitless. The lighthouse was used as a testing ground for experiments for several years after it ceased to be used for what it was built for, so it is also possible that the lights were caused by something left over from that period of time.

(Lmao)

She scans the floor and picks it up, throwing it unceremoniously in your direction. "Is this it?"
None of them seem horribly damaged, but some have crumpled pages or are tented at the moment. You notice the ones she's currently holding don't seem to be the sort of thing people usually come to the history section to check out (e.g. wars or historical events), but who are you to judge, seeing as you're reading up on the history of animal domestication.

"Oh. Thanks." Eleni decides to skiddadle before she loses her library privellages. She doesnt want to be a part of this mess. "Good luck not geting kicked out foe the mess." She says over her shlulder.

...shes still confused why the book she had was in the library though. Did the library jave two of the same book or somethinf?

Selena thought to herself, "I might need to check this out later," She wrote it down to remind herself if she forgets. Selena continue to read some more.

(Yay I found a picture)

He shakes it somewhat awkwardly. "Delighted to meet you, Trox, I've really got to get going, my shift is almost over." He waves over a man who's stopped by to buy a paper, then adds, "See you around. Or, depending on where I'm sent next, maybe not." He chuckles.

(OMG KITTENS WHERE)

(Right now? Hiding, probably sleeping.)

"Well, bye," I say. I start walking, to where I'm not certain, but I feel myself getting into the familiar stride. The stride. Like I'm going to the library or the ice cream place. Well, maybe either is good. I haven't had breakfast and a library would have information on this sort of thing... would it?

(Also, ice cream existed before technology. I remember from a Good Eats episode checked.)

He shrugs. "I didn't, but you're bound to find one somewhere in Downtown Fantasia. I don't keep track of where the stores are, you know," he chuckles. "Those'll be four silvers."

The librarian sitting at the front desk waves you over, seeing your confusion. "Welcome, welcome. What are you looking for today? New arrivals are over there-" she nods at a shelf behind you and off to the side, "but if you're looking for a particular topic, I can point you where you need to go."

"Oh, don't worry, it won't matter anyways," she mutters, strangely. "Just don't drag anyone else in here, you'll regret it," she adds, but she just sounds frustrated rather than an actual threat.

I nod politely. "T-thank you, miss. Would there... happen to be a section anywhere on the topic of magic?"

"Of course the magic and science section," she says, pointing above her. "It's the furthest right on the second floor. Don't forget," she adds sternly, "Attempting any magic or science experiments inside this building, or any building that isn't cleared, is strictly illegal."
Siara initially giggles at this but then frowns.
