August looked up at the skylight and tilted his head, frowning if a parrot ever could. "Hrm... You think so?" He inquired, more to himself than to the mouse. After a moment of mulling over it, he glanced back at her. It couldn't hurt, and he had already found that he needed any mental stimulation he could get anyway. "...I couldn't do it for your two friends, but I could probably carry you up there." He offered.

The twins kept arguing. Although they were actially getting a tad productive in their arguing-theyd figured out that they both hated talking and so they were now aeguing over who had to like talking because they couldnt like the same things.

Scarlet hands Jay a leaf while trying to keep herself calm, "Take the utmost caution Jay and I wish you the best of luck.''

"Hmmm..." Mrs. Mouse tilted her head as she considered the offer. She did feel bad not including the group she led, but she supposed that a quick look wouldn't hurt. "That's very kind of you to offer, Mr...? I'm afraid I haven't caught your name yet. I go by the name Mrs. Mouse, if you please. I don't think taking just me up there would be much of a solution, but I wouldn't mind a look around. I might be able to help the others find their way over as well." There had to be another passage, after all. They just couldn't see it from here.

"Of course, and you too," Jay sang back. He was excited, but not to the point that he would forgo reason. This was the first break they'd had about this silly Menagerie though and he wanted to test his theory. Taking the leaf, he flew up to one of the forks in the hall and took off, pausing to mark sections on the leaf the entire way.

Scarlet tries to track Jay's movements as she works on making her own map, "Thank you Jay." Her red ears flicking between Jay's position and Hunter's as she tries her best to recreate the Managerie's passageways and mazes.

"I'm Con-- I'm August. It's nice to meet you." The parrot replied. "You're right about it not being a solution, but it'll probably help you find a place to start finding what your looking for. Oh, and don't worry about your two friends; I'll take you down as soon as you ask."

The twind looked up. "Wait whats happening?"

Jay couldn't really say that the passage he'd taken looked any different from the others, but he could hear the sound of other animals in the distance. "I think there's something ahead!" he called out, hoping that the others could still hear him. He paused to mark everything on the map. "Huh, kinda looks like this hall is doing a zig-zag between the other ones..." He supposed that also meant he had to cover a lot more distance.

"It's alright," Mrs. Mouse assured the twins. "I'll be right back. Me and August are just going to take a look around above. Hopefully we can find a way for everyone to get to the center. Ah, I hope Jay, Scarlet, and Hunter are making progress as well..." She really thought they would start leaving signals soon, but perhaps her hints had been too vague.

Turning back to August, Mrs. Mouse offered a paw. "I'm ready to go when you are. I hope I'm not too heavy."

"I'll do my best." August replied, not really ready to make promises he wasn't entirely sure he vould keep. Turning slightly so that his left side was facing Mrs. Mouse, he unfurled his wings, which he had mastered control of by now. "Alright; I'm ready. Climb aboard."
