Heroine then looks at her cousin "I think i should tell you more about me and Kanakwella, this talisman makes me immortal. I can stay alive as long as I please. And as for Kanakwella and the war, the last time I seen her, other than today, was the day before she ran away back then we where only 13.
Mermydon's eyelids were already very heavy. Normally kelparie run around the clock shutting down half of their brain to rest at a time. Out of the water and beyond the berm, they could dry out and sleep was the best way to conserve energy as well as water for them. Despite his fatigue, he was taking interest in this situation. He looked between Kanakwella and Heroin and suggested to them. "Lady Heroine, until we can get back into the shallows, we will need to sleep.
And since the princess is having a difficult time on account of her injuries perhaps the two of you can tell me a nest-time story about a thirteen season old, Hallenjax princess who runs away from home and why she would do so, rather than perform her duty for her people and stop a senseless war before it started?" He was too tired to notice if the look they were giving him was anger or surprise, so he replied to them. "I may as well find out if she is the prophesied princess from Hallenjax seeing as I too am condemned by the same prophesy as much as she. Perhaps she will be gracious enough to tell it with her own pretty voice, hmm?"

Aleria helped with Kanakwellas injuries, then lied down on the shore line of the lake keeping her thoughts awirling about she had been tipped by some water sprite to but she didn't moan about it. The thought at the fronter most part of her mind was, how Herione and Kanakwella thought they were cousins. If Herione were a quitarie she coulds she it maybe... "I would deffinently like to hear how a firey red Zolnixi and a Dark sea purple Kelparie are related even remotely that's the nest time story that would interest me."

kanakwella looked at both of them "i-i'm not that good at telling storys but i-i-i'll try" she layed down and got started telling the story "long ago when i was a filly my uncle adopted heroine but her coat was blue back then, and i was a very young filly there was a legend on an ancient coridor in my castle and i took nothing seriously but the legend was one day one of the princesses in that castle will meet a prince and
of corse another mare and all three would make a kingdom of their own where all kelpari are welcome but before that happened in the legend they would face a great enemy (im guessing the picture was mordo or something like that ........ or maybe herobrine :O ) we called him you know who for we feared the name heroine knows who he is but she won't say it till we're all asleep but the legend said that we will need as many alies as possible, heroine i'm sorry but you will have to do the final hit on you know who you know the story"- heroine cuts kanakwella off "yes i know the story and i think there's another way!" heroine started to run back to the cave that she found the other zolnixi in and whispered "i know he's evil but he's not as evil as he seems" (ok just wanna say am i dramatic?)

"I would definitely like to hear how a fiery, red zolnixi and a Dark, sea, purple kelparie are related even remotely that's the nest-time story that would interest me."
"I-I'm not that good at telling stories but I-I-I'll try. long ago when I was a filly my uncle adopted heroine... I was a very young filly, there was a legend on an ancient corridor in my castle... but the legend was (that) one day, one of the princesses in that castle will meet a prince and of course another mare and all three would make a kingdom of their own where all kelpari are welcome but, before that happened in the legend they would face a great enemy..."
He slowly wheeled his head around and looked sternly at Aleria, she hijacked the nest-time story. He genuinely wished to hear about what caused her to run away, as Heroine had mentioned. Did she not wish to be betrothed to his ancestor? Was her sire or Shaledon's king a greedy tyrant whose wills she chose to defy? No, definitely not that last one. Nothing in her personality seemed to bely that she had the confidence to be so rebellious. His mind found it interesting that a legend from her time and a prophecy from his seemed to be converging together to shed light upon their own destiny. Their own destiny? This princess was so sweet, gentle, kind, and certainly nothing like the kelparie mares in his day. They were all more like Aleria. Toughened and resilient and they pressed upon their foals to be the same for their own survival. And he too was a product of that nurturing, he had almost nothing in common with Kanakwella except than he had a pure bloodline running in his veins. At the very least he noticed that she stopped stuttering when they weren't prying into why she ran away.
He almost snorted a laugh when she said 'back when I was a filly.' She was still a filly to him! Of course with the fog of sleep closing in on his mind, this thought drifted in from nowhere. ~Maybe they bred them younger back then than you were told in history classes.~ He thought it was Heroine he heard in his head. ~Yeah right, he thought, ~Next I'll be telling myself she's a legendary Kitsunixi who's interjected herself into this period of time to see that the legend and prophecy came true!~ He thought he heard a shocking gasp as though he had uncovered something he wasn't intended to discover. But he couldn't focus on that thought. He drifted into slumber, his nostrils filled with aloe and frankincense and thoughts of his dam rocking him like when he was a hatchling... Zzz... Zzz...

The collection of Ryori was strange because they all were now somewhat weak after fighting. "F.........father?" Grim Rose asked. "W.............w....." Grim rose fell into a deep sleep from her orbs being destroyed. "Give her orbs!" A ryori said. "She needs them." The other Ryori's orbs surrounded Grim Rose. She grew stronger. "Oh Grim Rose." A male said hugging her close. The wounds of the Ryori were forgotten all that mattered was Grim Rose who was deeply wounded.

Mwindo ~~ male ~~ In the dessert ~~ packless ~~ adult
"Im tired, starving with a dead Aurleon in my grasp. I am not up for a broken jaw if I can avoid it" he mutterd while glaring at the quitari. With this he tore into the slowly stiffening body. As the meat seperated from the body it gave up a sound that for him was calming, as it after all meant food. But for herbivours it was often really scary and unpleasent. But right now he didnt care, all he want is to relax, eat, rest and drink a bit. Once he was done with the dead birdlike creature he dragged it out of the cave before digging a hole in the burning sand that slowly went towards a more pleasent temperature as the sun slowly set for the day. Once the carcas was in the hole he coverd it with sand before sneaking back in to his courner of the cave there he started cleaning himself. A sound from the outside made him tense up a moment before he looked down at his paws.

Aloe and frankincense, the most positive memories as a colt were those scents. But in his dreams they were the harbringers of other memories. In his minds eye, he was a colt again playing with his schooling mates amid the safety of the freshwater kelp beds. How many times had this haunted his dreams, he couldn't remember; but this time the all to eerie memory was different. Amid his foal buddies were two new faces that looked remarkably like younger versions of Aleria and Kanakwella! And they were playing together.
"Come play with us Mermye!" Little Kanakwella blurted, batting her eyelashes at him as she wrapped a rather long kelp leaf about her head and blushed.
But Little Aleria wouldn't stand for it. "No! I want him to just play with me, you can play with him tomorrow."
"Why can't we both play with him." Little Kanakwella rebuffed.
Little Aleria stuck out her lip. "Because you're royalty like him, And when you get ta be queen you can play with him whenever you want."
Suddenly they were all three surrounded by the school mates faces he would like to forget, but they had funny glowing balls spinning about their necks and were passing them back and forth teasing the three of them. Their eyes were luminous dull white orbs; and he couldn't remember where he saw that before.
"Ally and Mermye sittin' in the kelp..." They all sang and teased Mermye.
"He Mermye!" Another would yell, "which filly are you going out with now?"
Soon they were all chasing each other in a great game of tag again, the teasing forgotten until a luminous red glow began to appear. Mermydon thought it odd, because he remembered that it was a bright blue glow, yet it was now suddenly red! And before him and all of his schoolmates it was a bright red Vorpar, fiery and terrible! Mermydon watched helplessly as little black silhouettes of water sprites and elementals with glowing red eyes seemed to spead out from Vorpar's form annihilating everything! His home, the kelp forest, the very fish of the lake! he turrned to tell his friends to run, but they vanished.
Little Mermydon looked everywhere for them frantically, the fear welling up inside of him knowing what he would see next. Body parts of his friends raining down the gore oozing into the water as it fell all around him like a macabre rain. But unlike his other dreams they were replica bits of Little Aleria and Little Kanakwella everywhere he looked. Just a pile of purple and dark green and reds piling up around him, his little eyes wanting to fill with tears and scream out in anger! Then, suddenly there stood Vorpar, not blue, but a bright yet bloody reddish tint hovering over the colt menacingly. And behind the fearful visage the lake gave way to an ocean of hot, dry sand as far as his little eyes could see.
This Vorpar looked at him and though it had no mouth like the real one, it spoke to him. "Foolish colt, you cannot save your friends from me anymore than you could then. Accept this as your fate and die..."
((Sorry guys, couldn't find an image for it this time.))
All of his fear, all of his anger, all of his dread and hatred welled up within his soul at that very moment and he wanted to scream but this, THIS Vorpar wouldn't permit him to, it was holding all of it in until he thought he would burst!..

heroine had also fallen asleep but near the dessert where she met Mwindo and had a dream with her friends and cousin in it "heroine wake up" all of a sudden she heard kanakwella's voice "what's this where am i?!" heroine said looking around everyone stared at her, after a pause kanakwella said "w-w-what do you remember?" heroine answered back "the last thing i remember is telling you all a story and then going to slee"- she cuts herself off "wait is this a dream?" everyone dissolved into thin air and a giant face appeared "ahahahahahah do you think i was that easy to defeat?, oh hah it's only you heroine you're going home!" the next thing she knew she was home watching big bang and something woke her but it was only an owl or was it? she raced to the camp but everyone was asleep so she then went back to the cave in the dessert where she first met Mwindo and went inside "hello is anyone home?" she said a little afraid from what spooked her

Overall the evening was relatively quiet, despite the occasional hollow threats from the water sprites about exacting some revenge soon. But that was nothing particularly unusual on the lake at night. Even the sylvorpa, now content with some free rein in the ruins of Shaledon, fattened themselves on polyps with no need to come to the surface. The wind played across the water, over the grasslands and through the trees easily and hardly a cloud in the sky. Many of them were white vapor in the crescent moonlight shining down over the vale, further lending to the tranquility in the area. Mermydon rested easily still wrapping Kanakwella against his side, his shoulder cushioned by kelp armor wasn't as good a pillow as the sponge beds Kanakwella was used to, but it was better than lying on the ground. The pain from her wounds subsided about ten or fifteen minutes after the stallion passed into sleep, allowing her to get some much needed rest also. Their breathing lent to opposite cadences so there heaving sides didn't interfere with remaining stationary.
Sometime after she achieved slumbered, Mermydon's head tilted until his muzzle rested atop her head, just behind her ear, each breath imbued with the smell of her as he slept. How long he had been breathing her air was uncertain, but his body slowly began to quake. First it was a fearful quake that began awakening Kanakwella, then the quake increased almost like a rumble and she felt the moisture of tears falling from his features and his breathing became almost a pant. No sooner had the disturbance fully aroused her from slumber than the stallion shot up in anger, and hatred, and fear screaming into the night sky and scaring most of the others awake.
"NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!" He screamed echoing across the lake from the cliffs to the west. His breathing was just short of a panic and his eyes were dilated nearly to their fullest. Frantically he stepped aside and looked about the space accounting for everyone. He checked over Kanakwella and Aleria twice before he started gulping air to try and calm himself. Even after his breathing returned to normal his body was still quivering a little bit. His countenance drooped a little before attempting to return to where he was resting.
He noticed that Kanakwella's bite wounds had vanished, as he slowly brought his head up to meet her eye. "Please forgive me, your highness. Twas a foul dream, nothing more." He reassured her "Shant happen again tonight." Hoping she would take comfort in that he prepared to sit himself back down and resume his place beside her, sleep now driven from him...

"You all only care about your own wounded!" Hissed a Ryori. "While one of ours is very deeply wounded! You are all uncaring!" Grim rose's orbs laid shattered beside her. The Ryori tried to collect the shards but it was hard. Grim Rose moaned. "Help her!" Grim Rose's Father pleaded. "We can't fix our own kind's orbs only sylesti with healing magic can repair them. Please save Grim Rose please. I beg of you."
