NIcote rolled his eyes. And went to go find another stack of books. On general psychology of all things.

Ema's eyes were bugging out at this point. Now she knew he'd gone mad. Or he was planning something epic. Either was possible. Both probably meant he was doing exactly what his father didn't want him to do.

he went into a corner and opened up the page to the dress again and started detailing it, he was going for a ice design with a hint of fire with it. He would have to sneak into town for the supplies but he was eager to make this dress.

The girl's relentless curiosity seemed to be satisfied for the moment, partially because she knew she was revealing way too much about herself. Tact wasn't exactly her strongest point, and she needed to be a little less lenient with herself. Even if Averill, at the moment, wasn't posing a threat to her.
So for once, she sat quietly on her chair, simply flipping through one of the books that had caught her eyes on the table. She decided that reading would satisfy her while she waited for Averill to finish his meal. She touched the old pages gently, admiring their yellowish tint from their age.

Amias was about to respond, but after he opened his mouth to reply, his eyes looked over to Riften with slight awe. He hadn't meant to stare so long, but he couldn't help but think that the beautiful gardens that Riften stood in brought out just how simply alluring and lovely he looked in those moments. His cheeks heated up as he processed what exactly he was thinking, looking away in slight shame. The elf's cute little smile only made him get even more internally flustered. While still averting his eyes, and having his body slightly turned away to hide the obvious blush on his cheeks, he answered Riften's question.
"Forget-Me-Nots. My mother used to plant them all over the house. They feel like home, I suppose."
Amias let small memories come to him of his mother continuing to plant new pots of those small little flowers nearly every day, and how his father never complained or scolded her. His father loved his mother as much as she cherished those flowers. His mother cherished her moments with her family, and she never wanted to forget anything when she grew old. She never got the chance to though. That's what stung the most about remembering these flowers, but he loved them anyways.

He placed his sword carfully on the table, where it infuse into the wood, and resumed eating quietly. Every once in a while his eyes went back to the custom collar, strangely he reminded Averill of his sister in a way. He had to admit she was rather tomboyish so it wasn't too difficult to see similarity with the younger men. As he finished his meal he decided to test somthing, realy it was just him trying to juge his own capacity to communicate with the commoners in the futur. Of course it wasn't the same thing as to speak to citazins, let alone nobles, there was less pressure on him when speaking to his own slave since, even if he didn't realy liked the concept, he owned them. "So tell me, i know how you see my father but how do you see me so far ?"

Ema had sneaked back to watch him. She wasn't needed until NIcote finished his little library trek. So she watched and admired. Pretending to look at something else, of course.

Emrys seemed to pause at the question, and you could tell she was asking herself the same question now.
What exactly did she see Averill as? He clearly wasn't his father, but she couldn't deny that didn't stop her from comparing him to the king, as much as she knew how wrong and unfair that was.
Although he had quite the terrifying glance, obviously from his father, she... she didn't think he was a bad person. At least nothing had told her he was evil, or anything at all like the people ruling Adreoles. Still, wasn't he still the son of the enemy in her eyes?
"I... I see you as..." She paused, her face scrunching up a little as she searched for the words. "I first saw you as the evil son of an evil tyrant. Now... I believe I see you as less threatening, and, well, friendly?" She couldn't find the right word, so she chose friendly, because that was what he had been so far, except when the little secret of his weapons was revealed to her.

Averill smile softly at the custom collar's answer, at least he was somwhat able to act natural enough for him not to terrify them. " That's good to ear, i woud not want you to feel threaten around me, that would make your work more difficult after all." Of course he was a bit sad to know how mutch his father's reputation had stained on him, even if he already knew it would be the case.

Lidia giggled back, taking the suit. "Alright, and no problem, I just thought you where hungry.", She chirped. The blonde disappeared into the closet, pulling off her nightgown. She hummed to herself, still smiling a little as she changed. Lidia still needed to brush her hair, but she came to the conclusion that Odelina would help her out. She buttoned up her dress shirt and then moved onto the black coat that went over it, buttoning it up as well.
