~Dobhar~Firepack Alpha~Firepack Camp~

Dobhar reached his den with mist to find Eci standing outside. She couldn't help but notice the blood in his fur and how tired he was.
"I'm fine. But I cant say the same for the pregnant dog. Seems she was killed by her mate, a wolf though he's dead too." as he said this dobhar spat some blood from his mouth and ruffled his fur.
"Mist here will be staying in my den as well, at least untill that pup no longer needs constant tending."

Too tired from the nights events to want to go into much ore detail on the subject dobhar walked into his corner of the den. "Done some redecorating have we? Well if you've still got the energy to be running around might you find the hunter Agni and ask her to come here. She is the one who lead the hunting party that brought down the buck."

Jake-male-mutt-no pack

With his nose to the ground he sniffed about. "Serena do you smell that?" He asked an edge on his voice. The hair on the back of his neck were standing up on end, something was wrong.
"You mean the blood smell in the air? Yes I smell it." She felt sick at the smell, it was canine blood if she had ever smelt it. "Maybe we shouldn't be here." Serena nearly growled lowering her head some. If they were going to get ambushed here would be where it happened.
"But what if there is a dog that needs help? We can't let them just die!" He barked before taking off after the smell.
"Jake wait!" The female barked following after him. He stopped so suddenly that she nearly hit him as he came to a stop. "Jake! Don't do that, you could get hu-..." She cut short as she gazed upon the camp clearing of a dog pack. "What is this? Wolves?!" She hackles raised in defense. If was clearly a pack, with say a few dogs in it. One happened to be a wolf dog, she could smell that much. They were in Firepack though they didn't know it.

Before anyone says anything my replies will have nothing to do with my personal feelings, this is just coincidence)

"Those are human things." Mist growled looking at Ecci venomously. Mist instinctively pulled the pup closer to her soft fur pausing in her cleaning to glare at ecci.

~Dobhar~Firepack Alpha~Firepack Camp~

Dobhar's ears pricked up at the barely audible sound of an unfamiliar bark. With a heavy sigh he got to his feet. "I'll be back. I'm just going to check on somthing."

Dobhar snuck around the edge of the camp as to not draw any attention to himself. He kept a low profile untill he spotted the strangers, two mutts by the looks of them. He approached quietly they hadn't noticed him yet and none of the other firepack dogs seemed to have detected them either. He got closer to the two and spoke softly.
"This isn't exactly the best time for visitors. Who are you and what are you doing in my territory?"

Serena~female~mutt~no pack

The voice caused her to instinctively cover Jake since she was bigger than him. She barred her teeth and growled in a protective manner. "Your territory? No one can tell it was anyone territory with the smell of blood leading up to it!" She snapped. All in all she looked ferocious to anyone that didn't know her, but that didn't mean she wouldn't attack if she had to. Jake managed to peer out from under her.
"I'm sorry for my friend here. She is a bit protective is all. We didn't know this was a territory, and I'm sorry to be intruding but the smell had us worried. It was my idea to come look, I simply thought there was a dog in trouble. We wished to help is all." The smaller male dog answered.

~Dobhar~Firepack Alpha~Outside Firepack Camp~

With a small sigh of relief Dobhar straightened and moved so that the two dogs could actually see him though, in the dark he seemed more wolf than dog actually letting them see him would likely release some tension.
"My apologies, it is just that we have recently had a bit of a disagreement with a neighbouring pack. So you can understand my being cautious around strangers."

He paused for a moment to gauge their reaction to his words before he would explain the scent of blood in the air.

The she dog only stood taller as the male stepped forward. "I see, I'm again sorry for interfereing. We should be going." Jake said though Serena prevented him from standing. She couldn't let this other dog hurt him, he was the only dog that understood her, the only one that stayed with him.

Dobhar couldn't help but notice how the females stance changed upon seeing him.
"Ah, its been awhile since I've gotten that reaction. Don't worry neither I nor my pack will harm you though it seems the waterpack with whom we share our borders is not so kind to outsiders. You may also want to be wary of wolves. I have encountered a few too many of their number in our territory as of late and seeing as one has already spilled innocent blood tonight... well just be careful."

"And? Do you have a problem with me being a past pet?" She said as her brown eyes looked straight at Mist. "I say that it makes daily life easier." Eci said and went to seek out Agni.

"Once a pet always a pet." mist growled.
