There was this stillness in the cold air, as if evrything in the wood was holding it's breath in enticipation. Your foot disturb a few wood chunk, sending a cloud of dust flying down the edge of the platform. You could hear a male voice humming a low melody across the open field, the song that all the prisoners that were hung here had ear. It felt like both a start and a finality...
