Hunter fell over laughing...because he was a hyena. Then he got up and shook himself off, and stopped laughing. "It feels good to laugh, but it feels great to get out of here! Let's go the way Scarlet is pointing." He trotted after Scarlet.

Jay gave Hunter a strange look, not sure if the Hyena was okay. He seemed to be though, so he let himself fall into pace behind Scarlet. "It really is great to continue moving. Ah, this hallway forks a lot ahead. We can from that way," Jay indicated with a wing. "It's either of these other two paths then. I can't seem to sense anything the way Mrs. Mouse said though."

After watching the other three go, Mrs. Mouse turned back to her small group. "Well, we might as well make ourselves comfortable while we wait for them to signal. That hyena's laughter really does echo far, though!" she laughed. Gathering some nearby leaves, she made herself a nest to sit on, then turned to the remaining three. "Would you like to hear some stories in the meantime?"
Scarlet kept going back and forth looking for a trail. Her tail lashes as she walks back and forth while he ears and nose twitch.

"If you have a story," Grey paced in a circle ten times, "why not. I love stories anyways." She laid her head in her paws, and looked at the mouse, trying her best to not look intimidating. She actually liked Mrs. Mouse.
Hunter tries to keep quieter than usual, but he finds himself just chatting about nearly everything.
"Oh, in that case, we should go left. And if there is another fork, go left. That way when we go back, we just have to keep going right!"
Hunter was...chattering like that.

Nico stayed deep in the shadows.
Newt however stayed right in a patch of sunlight.

Mrs. Mouse chuckled at the antics of her new group. "It's quite alright," she said to Loki. "You both remind me of my children when they were young. I wouldn't want to keep anyone up. Now..." She turned to Grey, who looked the most interested. "There was once a young mouse, a rooster, and a cat. Now you see, the rooster was a great friend of the mouse, but the cat, he was a wily fellow..." She continued to chatter on, retelling one of the fables of her youth. The entire time though, she couldn't help but picture the rooster she met her and how their lives paralleled what Aesop already knew.

"Left...ah, left does seem somehow right," Jay found himself respond to Hunter. The hyena chattered almost non-stop, but the more they walked, the more right it felt. Almost as if some current in the air pulled him home. Perhaps that was how all birds felt when migrating. "Scarlet, do you think you could run a little ways down that hallway and see if there's another fork?"

"I will gladly go search just keep your eyes and hears open in case something tries to sneak up on me from behind," Scarlet starts walking toward the left fork hoping that it was the right way.

Grey was completely into the story, so when Mrs. Mouse stopped, she started, and looked around as if the whole world had just appeared. For a second, she looked a tiny bit confused like a dreamer can be when waking up from a dream and realising that everything that had happened in the dream wasn't there.
"Oh...Well, thank you so very much for the story. I love stories so very much. Thank you for telling it." She smiled in what hope wasn't a creepy wolfish way.

"Then I will stay here. And talk. Like I am. Or, I shouldn't. I can get annoying. Oh no. Did I just say something that was bad? I'm sorry. I just don't know exactly what to say sometimes, but the thing is, if someone doesn't say anything, it seems a bit...quiet." Hunter gives an effort to stop talking, and manages it, but ends up just talking about what used to happen when he wasn't with anyone. Those were some lonely times. And that was against what Hunter was.
