(So Orca, we have yet to confirm whether Erwen gets his usual nice buff of punching holes in things with wind magic, minus the wristband.)
(Also, Xed, did I throw you the random thing I wrote about these two in which Erwen talks like a normal person?)
Erwen frowned. "So do we have to, you know, back to Bildernia? I kind of liked being not there."
Phoenix scratched her head. "You're supposed to be letting me doing the fighting for you," she complained. "You know you shouldn't use your," she waved her hands vaguely, " You know." Sure Nic's dark magic wasn't exactly a secret, but most Bildernians preferred not to talk about it openly. Especially when she wasn't sure whether to trust this wolf man.

Nicote rolled his eyes. "I didn't get forced to take combat classes for nothingm y'know. I do like actually using whatever they taught in those classes on occasion."
(um yes XD classify it under whatever, either earth or mystery would be best but whatever XD)

"Yeah, well, I'd hate to see you try to flip him," Phoenix nodded at Lowell, "over your shoulder without getting several fatal wounds." She rolled her eyes to emphasize exactly what she thought of it. "At least, if Her Highness Princess Nanita asks what happened, she might actually believe me."
(Isn't Nic really skinny...?)

(*facepalm* sure air ack im braindead and he's a little less skinny now, he looked too much like Nico di ANgelo when he was that skinny so.....he's just a ltitle underweight now but shhhhh he's a prince in thisrp XD)
Nicote prtended he didn't hear the last comment. "I wasn't planning on a fight anyways." Although he still had an old knife in his boot that he rarely used but he didn't like t so he wasn't going to use it if he could.

(I don't think you ever did, at least I don't remember seeing it. Actually don't find him too hard to understand because I've definitely had moments of speaking like him myself. XD)

(I mean, it was intended for him to say about half of what he's saying now because he says the other half in his head xD But he doesn't usually sound like me when I pull an all-nighter lmao)

It was always best to assume the enemy was looking to catch you by surprise.
Erwen yawned again and kicked a random rock to amuse himself. All this talking was boring him.

He wasn't exactly in the mood for one with the sort of day he had already had and fatigue was very apparent on his beasital face. "What do you hope to get out of such talks? I have nothing I wish to negotiate with you two and would prefer to be well on my way before my head ends up on a palace mantle."
Lowell grunted sternly.
He was clearly addressing both Nicote and Phoenix, despite never taking his eyes off the knight herself. His companion didn't exactly seemed very interested in chatting either. Maybe it would make it easier for them to slip away.

His eyes started to spark-a sign he was formulating plans in his head that either meant total destruction or a desireable outcome. usually the latter ,though. He turned to Phoenicia. "What's the chance I can pull off another stunt of amazingness? I want to check my odds before I start doing everything I said I wasn't going to do on the way here."

Phoenix shrugged. "You just need to get out of here is all I will say. The Empress is hardly going to let you go easily if you stick around, so you'd best be leaving unless His Royal Highness has something other to add besides heads on doors."
She glanced at Nicote again as he spoke. "I would... rather you not do such a thing in the first place?"
She could already see that it was going to be an even longer night than she'd expected, and it would probably involve chasing Nic around to make sure he wasn't going to get himself killed multiple times.
