Scarlet steps back not really sure how to respond to this situation. Her firey red tail waving back and forth as her autumn sunrise ears were pinned to the back of her head.

"It's alright," Mrs. Mouse murmured as she patted the fox's leg. "There's no reason for anyone to get upset and I meant no offense. I've just been bereft of social contact for so long." She suspected it was the same for many of the group and with animal instincts in the mix, they were a battlefield of emotions. Small scuffles like this were hardly something to bat a whisker at. "Now, as I was saying, the easiest way to find the origin room is from the outside, but you cannot enter from that way. Someone must lead the way for the rest of us. Do we have any volunteers?"

"I am more then willing to Mrs. Mouse," Scarlet volunteers, "since you have been so kind a host the least I can do is go outside and find where the Origin Room is. Besides not much will try to prey on a fox here or at least I hope not."

The twins were arguing quietly in hawaiian.

Hunter skipped up. "I could!"
"Like you would ever take it seriously."
"I would!" Hunter turned to glare at Grey. "And most predator animals hate loud noises and ruckus." Grey sighed, and wondered where Hunter had learned that.
"Then maybe you can go right behind Scarlet or something. Just so you don't get in the way of things."

"I can help keep an eye on Hunter, if you would like," Jay pipped in. "Besides, I think a bird's eye view would help." He may have found Hunter a little annoying, but he thought it was the smart move, and really, safety lay in numbers. If they were going to split up, it didn't make sense for one or even two to wander away from the group.

Mrs. Mouse nodded her head. "Sounds like you three should be able to handle it then. It will be hard to keep in contact once we separate, so we should have good noses and ears on each side. If you three make noise against the outer walls, we should be able to follow the bread crumbs, so to say," she added with a chuckle.

"Oh yeah. Get the guy who can't see and the guy who can't hear. Purrfect." Loki mombled.

".......Two words: Hearing aids."

"Two words: Contacts lenses."

Scarlet nods, "Welcome to the team Hunter, Jay I hope we can find the room and get out of this place. Let's go if we are going then."

"Alright then. We'll see you guys at the origin room, then," Jay said. Spreading his wings again, he swooped down and through the hall, back the way they had come. Mrs. Mouse said they needed to follow their instincts if they wanted to get anywhere in this maze. Whatever that meant. Give yourself over to the animal side just a bit more? At least she hadn't said to 'follow your heart'. His mind couldn't deal with logic like that. "Hunter, Scarlet...I don't suppose you can sense which way we're supposed to be going?"

Scarlet looks around for a while and begins to walk in one direction then the other until finally desciding to go north, "I think we should go this way because I can sense something but I don't know what it is."
