Ifera jumped in surprise and raised the butter knife she had in her sleeve. When she saw that there was no threat she put it away. "Cause it's pretty." Ifera said coldly sitting down on the edge of a water fountain.

Kimani listened quietly, nodding softly when he heard his father tell him what the orphanage said. He clipped his earring back onto his ear.
"I would love for you to be here with me. And I never would have blamed you. You did what was best for me at the moment, and what was best for yourself..." He said softly, but he realized something. He couldn't leave everyone behind at William's house just yet. Not without either getting rid of Archie or telling William about him.
".....How did she pass?" Kimani asked quietly. She looked very pretty from the picture, but he had never known anything about either of his parents until now.
