Stairs for Lio, elevators? Too loud and risky. Also, very closedin.

Lilith takes the stairs as well; they have a considerably smaller chance of, say, breaking down and trapping them inside for an hour.

Florian takes the stairs with some of the others. He hates elevators; too claustrophobic.

Had anyone taken the elevator, they'd have run into many adversaries. Since everyone took the stairs, it took longer, but no one knows they're here, and no one's dead. That's always good. The elevator opens into a service hall.
Will you explore or form a plan first?

"What's so suspicious about there being a bigger group? If we're all together, at least some of us can get away if we get caught. Smaller groups make it easier for them to round all of us up," Lark points out.
