The part that was holding the frame however seemed to have been tempered with from the inside of the vent, making it easily removable granting the entrie of your room to any of the Number as long as they make it until that point.

I try to look up into it, checking for any numbers in the vent currently

You coudn't see or ear anything but they had the habits of hiding their presence so you coudn't be sure.
