William nodded and said, " Put one foot on the stirrup and then I will help you onto it the rest of the way. " He said, holding the horse still.

Kimani, hesitant at first, walked up to the horse and put his foot on the stirrup. He then pushed up to try and get himself up high enough for William to reach. I can't believe I'm going to see my own father in a little while. I-I wonder what he's really like... My mother too. I wish I could have the chance to meet her like I have the chance to meet him. His thoughts wandered to that again, and he mentally pushed them away.

William helped Kimani up, and made sure he was steady before he started to make the horse go forward, his eyes casted forward. " I wonder what that old hound is up to.. probably sulking somewhere in his home. I hope he isn't drinking again, he is very loopy when he drinks.. which is why Charlotte doesn't like him over because if he drinks I drink and if we both drink we end up breaking stuff and if we do that.. I sleep on the couch. "

"Well...for one thing i can say he's not following us anymore" he replied stretching a bit.."Probably took another path or went outside,he's fine tho" he reassured her

"How do you know that?" she deamanded. Mood swing #3.

Kimani stifled a giggle, but he also felt... saddened by that fact.
"I would hope our invitation brightens his spirits. L-Loosing his wife and child must have been devastating." He said, his softer voice showing through. "Charlotte is a lovely woman, you must have been very lucky to meet her." He said with a soft smile. He hadn't had the guts to speak to her yet, but he planned to.

William smiled softly, " Trust me he enjoys having dinner with me and Charlotte... and yes, she is a lovely woman and I am very lucky to have her.. You should've seen her in her younger years, she aged beautifully but.. when she was younger she could kill a man with a glance and her hair flowed like liquid gold.. We met before I went to war and she promised to wait for me, and she did.. Oh how I love her with all my heart. "

Kimani smiled when he talked about how lovely she was, and how she in truth still was. He had put his hands on the horse and pet her softly without really thinking about it. "That's a wonderful story, she must have been worried sick. I'm happy things worked out the way they did."

" Worried is an understatement.. She wouldn't leave my side for days after I came home. In fact some days she still doesn't fancy leaving my side for all too much time.
