I already brought up the idea to Krin in general chat, but I wanted to make a post here to see if others would like to add ideas.
How Krin said it could be done -
Krinadon: Ah.. yea. It actually could quite easily, but it wouldn't be part of the avatar
Krinadon: I could just have it so you can unlock and set backgrounds that display behind your avatar on your profile page
Krinadon: And just have completely separate from the avatars

Volcanic! For no reason, even though on the Zone Map ther is a zone (not unlocked) that has a volcano.
All support! A while back I suggested backgrounds for pets, but I forgot about it... XD

I like Crystals ideas+ ice and snow. Pretty much scenery... anywhere... like forest, underwater etc. :D i support this

I think we could also have "Basic" Background, where it's only colors, MAYBE a few designs-ish (like waves or anything like so).
And maybe you could select the color with the hex, like if it was a Wardrobe thing~ :3
(Oh and maybe an "On-Off" button (See-Don't see), to see better the things we put on our Avatar without having the Background being always there~ X3

I do think that backgrounds could be cool and add something new to the already awesome avatar system. I only request that the backgrounds don't show up behind my avatar while its on the explore map. That would just look too strange. >>

I agree. That would look really odd. I don't think that would happen though as the way Krin said backgrounds could work would be having the background displayed behind your avatar on your profile page. It wouldn't actually be part of the avatar itself.
