Hello! If you're here, you're either curious as to what this is, or you were in chat while I was discussing it!
We were discussing old pet designs - some people sure seem to miss them! Then, an idea struck me - I could make an extension that changes pet images to the previous incarnation!
Here are my goals, in achievable order:
- Make an icon and a popup-based interface
- Get every species to at least
a) Show old design
b) Show proper color
- Draw each and every trait, and at least
a) Show proper color
b) Be able to layer properly
- Have the change apply to Hatchlings (and Egglings, if applicable)
- Smooth out interface and make it user-friendlier
- And more!
I will not start this project until:
- I have permission from Krin (image permissions).
- I have the basic code and pseudocode down.
- I finish one of my bigger projects (almost done!).
I do plan on updating this thread about my progress - do you want to be on a pinglist for this? Let me know!

Glad you think so!
I'm hoping to get the layout all ready by the New Year - I'm personally excited, I've never done something like this on quite this scale! It'll take a while, but it'll be worth it >:3
I didn't even know until today that so many of the longer players really, really missed the old designs!

Nice, me too! I think making something like this is a good way to. . .I don't know, bring myself closer to the community?

I love this idea! I definitely miss a lot of the older designs (puff and kelp are the ones that first come to mind) so I would absolutely support this project. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. :)
