You wake up with dim light shining directly into your eyes. You see you are surrounded by trees - the sunrise is just coming up; its light filtering in.

These trees are very tall. . .there aren't even any branches until about thirty feet from the ground. . .

It's very quiet - where exactly are you? Are you supposed do something here?

Isorin stands up and rubs his head. Oh gosh, what have I gotten myself into this time? He tries to recall as much as he can from his studies and classes, hoping he'll find something that vaguely resembles this place. Nothing. Clutching his staff, he surveys his surroundings for any signs of life.

You wake up with your back incredibly sore. Sitting up, you see that you have been on a large outcrop of rock.

It overlooks what seems to be a massive forest. If you wanted to get down there, though, it'd be a pretty hard climb.

Turning around, you realize you can hear a faint burbling of water. There must be a spring or stream over there. . .

Where exactly are you?

There's not a single thing in sight - no birds, no foxes, nothing.

Just you and the trees.

Although, now that you're looking around, it almost appears to be there's a very faint path through the forest. . .well, it might not be a path. But it's exposed dirt in a place that's quite grassy, so maybe that's a good thing?

The sun has climbed even further up. Something about it seems a little off - it's not the warm yellow you're used to. It's more of an orangish-red color, and the light it emits seems dimmer.

"Strange," Rin mutters. "R....right. What did Master Eldonn used to say? When in doubt, find someone who can help." He looks at the faint path. "Worth a try," He decides and follows it.

You walk among the trees, following the faint dirt path close as you can.

It's been almost fifteen minutes. You would have been losing hope on this trail if it wasn't for the fact the tree line ends up ahead. It appears to open up to a field full of rolling hills.

As you get to the top of a hill, you can see smoke wafting in the air. There's a house down there! A house with a fireplace! (:000 whooooaaa fireplaces, man)

Rin sighs in relief. There's got to be someone in there! He approaches the house, straightening himself up a little, and knocks on the door politely.

Her ears perk, she winced at the pain in her back and decided to rest before completely move "were am i?"

You hear a surprised grunt and shuffling towards the door. It opens - wow, they're really tall. Almost six feet.

A young-looking man wearing torn-up jeans and a grey sweater stares at you with hazel eyes. His short, sandy hair is all ruffled up, like he just woke up from a nightmare.

"Uh. . .can I. . .help you?" he asks slowly.
