Yes that seems to be how it is. I played some last year and so this time I started at rank 4.

I have a suggestion, could we in future years continue the ranks in all the branches not only by doing them all? because I don't like battling a lot and it looks like with grand champion you'll be building future tiers off doing all three. but could we get higher tiers for each specific one (priest warlord and druid) and not only all of everything?

Are you referring to the Diamond Shop Themed Pet bundles? There's two options. There's last year's bundle which has the original 5 available as they were last year and then there's just the standalone Qitari, both priced at 800 Diamonds.

I would like to come up with different concepts for progression from year to year. So it's possible in the future that it won't be like the Grand Protector Rank was this year.

Is there any confirmation on how many releases are needed for the rank 8 druid? someone earlier said 800 but I don't know if that's for rank 8 or 9.

Thatd be Rank 9, as it took me around 300 for Rank 8.

alrighty, thank you! that's a LOT more manageable than the 800 I thought it was.

Is there going to be any higher tier this year, or is Grand Protector the only new thing? I know it's good to give newer players a chance to catch up, but it's a bit underwhelming for someone who started at max from last year when the event goes on all month. I keep checking back to the festival page by reflex, and it always is just done and over.
