A knock sounds from outside the door. "Lark?" A deep voice rumbles. "You in there?"

A bright orange Phoenix steps inside. "The Queen would like to see you." He says.

I'm Liana, by the way."

I grumble, "I'm not a sloth." But follow her anyways. Thoguh what she means by "dont act like that" I have no idea since that's how I act around everyone.

"I was not informed." He ruffles his feathers impatiently.

"Here." Liana slows to a stop in front of the Palace. Strange how the tree where the palace is built within still lives. Then again, it is an enchanted tree. A rocky path leads towards the doors. "Halt!" A guard shouts before you even step on a stone. "Please state your identities and the purpose of your visit!"

"Follow me." His talons click and clack as he navigates through the twisting hallways. Finally, a huge, silvery gate comes into your view. "I will leave you now." The orange Phoenix backs away, leaving you alone in front of the gate. "Halt!" A voice shouts. Well, not really alone. "Please state your identity and the purpose for your visit!" A guard steps out from the shadows besides the door.
