We've all had it. Pet regret- when you create your starter and later facepalm at a noob mistake, catch a random pet for no reason and then three months later don't have the heart to let it go, or generate a pet and leave like 20 slots at FFFFFF because you forgot. (FWI: There are many causes of pet regret!) My worst case of pet regret is Aravis, my starter:

Yes, Aravis has no traits! Not even a Carried! What was I thinking?
When I made her, I tried to give her Tempest Wings, a Restricted. Unfortunately, since that didn't work, I thought traits weren't allowed on a starter! Hence, she is utterly traitless.

I hurriedly made my starter and seriously regret not taking more time!

I do intend to dye her some better colors eventually but wish there was a solution for gene change- if only just for starters! D:

For me, my biggest regret (and not a huge one) is my starter:




When I first started I had thoughts of breeding, then I realized quickly that breeding wasn't for me. However, because I thought I would breed, I gave Kynin two carried traits instead of two visible. I love his colors, however to add on to it, I don't like abstract anymore because I now realize that it pulls from more colors than I thought (at the time I chose it, all trait colors were white I believe, but since I changed one to blue, now kynin's pure white abstract design has a blue outline if he is given a visible abstract)

I sort of wish that on petsites creating your first pet was delayed a bit, or you could 'redo' it at least once, because often a player doesn't understand enough about the site to truly make an informed choice on pets. I am lucky on most petsites I have played because I still like my starters, I got good colors and any randomized elements involved were also kind to me. However, not everyone is that lucky. I have heard many players complain on multiple sites, that there were things they didn't understand or realize and they now wish they could 'redo' their starter pets.

This design is still unfinished because it just didn't feel right. I kinda want to turn its colors into a theme or project eventually but I'll need to refine it.

You can always ask Krin about redoing your starter, I hear that a few people aahve done that for opsie starters :)

nah my worst were actually during summer fest 2019, I was starting an orca qit project and...my orcas kept getting rainbow everything. It was a nightmare. That's why im not 6vis quite yet, because of it :P
