You are a child, with or without a family, and your an oddball. You read the newspaper, dont really enjoy TV or the radio, and have a weird skill of some kind, like intelligence or creativity. It often leaves you lonely, sad, or at least bored. When reading the paper one day, you see an ad saying, *Are you a Gifted Child looking for special opportunities? Come down to the Town Hall at 3 oclock sharp, with only a pencil and eraser. Failure to bring your eraser, or a second pencil, or being late wont allow you to try these opportunities.* Out of curiosity, boredom, or just because, you decide to head on down and see what these tests are about.


This is my spinoff of the book series The Mysterious Benedict Society. Some puzzles, riddles, and tests will be repeated from the book since Im too lazy to make my own, and some will be my creation. Same with the characters I use. So, lets begin!

(Start off Near the town hall, with the pencil and eraser. As soon as every has at least one post Ill start the tests.)

Lorenzo let out a sigh as he meandered toward the town hall. He stuck his pencil in his ear as he was too lazy to carry it and tossed his erasure back and forth. He looked at his watch wondering who else would be joining him

(Oof dragon you basically just got the existernal mess trio XD)

Tracey hurried to the examination hall. She wondered why she even bothered.....and she also wondered why she didn't tell her best friend, who she knew was even odder then she was. She checked that her pencils and eraser were in hand.

Dashiell paced nervously. Hopefully he was in the right place. Being in the weing place would be a pain. Why was he even here? He didn't know. He held on to his pencil and eraser tightly so he didn't drop them.

Um, if you guys want to have small talk, thats cool. Sabira, where are you? You good?

Tracey glanced at the others arriving but said nothing...as usual.

(I'm sorry, I am no longer interested, I've gotten pretty busy with other roleplays and school. Sorry again.)

A woman walked forward, and frowned at all the kids. She had bright red hair, a yellow jacket and pants, and black boots, and yellowish skin. She looked like a human pencil. She said softly and in a clipped voice, *we can now start the first stage of testing. Please follow me.* she grabbed a granola bar from somewhere, ripped off the wrapper, and chomped into it. Chewing furiously, she turned and walked inside the building, beckoning for the others to follow.

Tracey grimaced-what manners. She followed her in.
