(I actually love reading, so long responses aren't a problem, :D)
She sighed, blowing a stray hair out of her face. Seize the Night, Seize the Day, Seize Life... What's the suppose to mean? And those weird symbols....those are suppose to stand for something, right?
She stared at the pages for hours, hoping that is she stared at them long enough, she'd be able to understand something. Kathrin closed the book, laying it on her lap. She softly mumbled the words, "Seize the Night, Seize the Day, Seize Life...", hoping, again, that something would happen.

You were leaping through trees with the breeze flowing through your fur. Freedom had a good feeling to it and you took complete advantage of that feeling. You were happy up until the point where you reached the edge of the woods. You hadn't realized you had gone that far and now you were mere feet away from civilization, you could even see a few children in the distance running and playing tag as their parents either sat on a bench talking or played on their phones.

She seemed to relax some now that she at least understood why you were here. She looked back to Blades room and laughed, "Now I know why he brought you here of all places. I'm Krista." the woman replied, "Nice to meet you Jumping." she held out her hand to shake but seemed to be a bit questionable about it, "This is his most people greet eachother right?" her eyebrow was raised as she looked to you for an answer.

The creature tries to stop anf quickly turned when it realized what you did but it's speed and weight caused it to go sliding down the center hallway. That gave you a good 50 seconds or so for you to either find a good place to hide or to run as far away as possible in that short timespan. (Hide / Run / Are there any other options?)

He tried to prove that he wasn't a threat by removing his lab coat, which would have been the place he most likely hid his weapons, then he took a seat in the center of the area, so that it would slow down any attacks he might try, then he raised both hands in a sign of surrender, the reason for that was pretty obvious. He even closed his eyes and blocked off his main sense. He turned his head back in you direction but his eyes were closed and he was now completely vulnerable, "Is this good enough to convince you to come out?" he called.

Her look of sympathy turned into a look of concern for your mental health and for her own sanity, "Oh boy... Why do you let her do this to you." she muttered almost completely inaudibly.

It takes a minute but you eventually spit one zipping around the rocks, it's moving fast and without any reason as it swerves in random directions with no clear purpose.

For a second it seemed like he was about to say yes, but as soon as you mentioned that you had been practicing his eyes widened and he pulled back, "Your aim was already good before! You practicing is definitely not a good thing." he practically shrieked.
