I scowled at the doorway in which he left. This is exactly why I never asked for help. I turn back to the girl in front of me, a grimace still lingering on my face. "I... was running from someone... and I asked him for help, and the rest is history. I haven't introduced myself. My name is Jumpingemerald. You can call me Jumping," I said, narrowing my eyes at the female.

Eventually the fight to survive ended as the fish fell limp.
The boy patiently watched from the shore waiting to do his part.

Her eyes widened, "Should I be offended?" she asked grinning as she followed you out of the room. Once again she began screaming, "Mom!". Her mom answered everytime but she continued yelling anyway until you reached the bottom and walked in. At the sight of you her mom instantly facepalmed. She didn't say a word and only have you a look of sympathy and concern.

I haul the fish to shore and place it on a rock, swimming back in looking for another fish to catch. I expect him to do what I said, it's a simple enough process. I remember catfish and many larger fish are at the bottoms of rivers and so No down, hoping to find one.

(Sorry for the late response, I've managed to break my laptop...)

"Aww..." Siah pouts before looking at Chris with the best puppy dog eyes she could muster. "Please just one round, Chris? I've been practising in my free time!!"

Upon opening the book you found a day on the first page. The date shown was at least 35 years prior to the date now. You also found a name inside, James Wilcox, you had never heard the name before and so you thought nothing of it as you continued reading.
The next page contained strange symbols that you didn't recognize. Everything in the book seemed to be sketched out and hand written, nothing had been done with any sort of special print Quill, it had all be done completely by hand with a jar of ink and a normal quill.
The first sketch was a symbol that looked like a cat eye inside a circle with a straight line drawn from the top all the way to the bottom of the symbol, with the word Carpe Noctern scrawled out underneath the sketch.
The second symbol was of what seemed to be a birds wing inside of a triangle, the top of the wing poked out over the triangle and covered a corner of it since it was too big to fully fit in the triangle. Underneathe this sketch were the words Carpe Diem written in the same hand as the previous.
The final symbol was showed a paw print next to a claw mark, the two small sketches were then entertained with a snake curling around them, the snake wasn't normal though. Two wings spread out from either side of the snake, the snake looked as though it was in the midst of an attack when it had been sketched. Below this strange symbol beared the words, carpe omnia.
You had never seen this language in your life, but strangely enough you understood what it meant. Carpe Noctern, Seize the Night. Carpe Diem, Seize the Day. Carpe Omnia, Seize Life. You new what the words meant but you had no idea what them or the symbols stood for.

(Sorry it's really long ^^; )
