Kats, you have only 25 hours to get your critiqued piece up next to your original from your critiquer. Otherwise none of your design post will be valid. Remember you must meet all requirements for your design post this to be eligible. You can't pick and choose, all must be met.

You also much place your critique with in your design post for the one you are critiquing along with a visible reference to what you are stating as well.

Sairento....If another poster does not post before tomorrow morning, I will post you in the "Entries Thus Far" post. If they post though, you will have until 5pm CST to make those changes and put your new design next to your original with in your design post. Just figured to give you an update.

All right folks, only 25 hours left in this challenge. Remember all requirements must be met for it to count. So please do not by any circumstance hold up your fellow designers. Check to see if they have critique you and so forth. If you get on long enough to check you pets and what have you, you can check to see if your attention is needed here as well. Otherwise it will be seen as a blatant disregard for the challenge, the requirements, and any and all inquiries directed your way. And that ain't good.

For those that have posted already...I have updated the "Entries Thus Far" post. Please check it out. Keep up the great work, and hopefully those awaiting a critiquer ...Hopefully they will be around soon. Until then way to go everyone!

as my favorite (and birth) month is january, i figured i could do a lot of things i appreciate about it. one is new year's day, which celebrates, obviously, a new year and a new beginning. i chose to represent this with a sunrise. as is the same with every sunrise and beginning, none are the same, and all are beautiful :) and january, in my opinion, has the best, brightest, and most vibrant sunrises <3

@sairento
i love your design! it's absolutely beautiful. but for an autumnal month, i feel it's a bit too......... yellow?? by that, i just mean i feel like it needs a bit more orange, red, and maybe a hue of brown here or there to bring out the autumnal month that november is. looking at the color palette, it feels too summery. but otherwise, it's beautiful (no offense is meant at all by this, but i despise bright yellows and i got a headache trying to work with yours xD not your fault, i've just always gotten a headache and never really liked bright yellows)

I have to opt out, apologies. School is already so busy and I've been having issues getting on to just do check in things let alone put effort into making a design

Tried to get this done before my shift but unfortunately that did not happen but at least its before the deadline. :)

Critique
This design is pretty and very well crafted, however, I feel as it for January (being at winter month) it looks a little warm. I suggest adding a few tones of blue-grey so it still has that burst of bright color but also the chill of mid-winter. The eyes and wings were also a little too bright so I would lighten it a little too. Other than that, I really like this design. Nice work.

Out of all months of the year, November is my absolute favorite. There are so many special memories that have happened in November and its also home to Thanksgiving, my birthday and gotcha day, and my anniversary. However, my favorite part of fall is watching all the leaves change colors...well, if there are any left due to the Texas heat that is :p

Whatever they suggest to make your design better, you need to attempt to recreate your original piece using some of their suggestions. Once you do, you place it right next to your original design with in your design post. Look at some of the others to get an idea.
