Let me know when you have recreated your design with Shimeree's suggestions for improvement. Just remember to leave the original up, and post your altered design along side it so we can see the difference. Then your design post will have met all the requirements. Good luck hon.

I have completed all of my updates for now. Everyone that is participating thus far is doing remarkably well. I know with the requirements there is a bit of a transition, but we have a lot of time left to make the adjustments. Just remember folks that all aspects of each requirement must be met. You cannot pick and chose what you do and do not do. Make time to finish everything, even if you have to come back to it a little later. Just understand if you do, there are others waiting on you to get theirs done as well. If you have any questions or concerns, by all means contact me privately through PM and or PING me on here. Until then, keep rocking those designs folks!

No worries hon. What happens is...In your design post you comment /give a friendly suggestion or two on how the designer before you can improve their design. You have to copy and paste and mimic their design so to speak with your suggested alteration of improvement. Then you create your design following the requirements of course. After that, the person that follows suit after you does the same thing you did before for the person that came before you to you. Once you get the designers input on your design from the person that comes after you, you recreate your design over again using what you think you can from their suggestions. You then place your new altered design, next to your original so we can see the changes you made. I hope that helps. If not, contact me privately through PM and I will go over in more detail with you hon. :-)

So I know i'm not your critiquer but I saw your design and thought that with some color changes you could get a really successful design! Currently your designs colors are all over the place and quite different from your reference photo in some places and I think some changes could be made to better reflect that, as well as changing the mane trait to better help with the flow of the design!

Cozy Fireplace
Based on January

When January hits my town like a truck, there is a guaranteed chance that the power goes out at least once. Whenever that happens the house gets freezing and we have to turn on the fireplace to keep it warm. I love sitting in front of the fireplace and reading a book, since that is basically the only time I have an excuse for not doing something else.

Critiques
I will be focusing on the Northern Lights design, but as an overall critique, I think your designs are a bit flat, I would suggest adding colors that are not just the primary colors and changing some of the said primary colors into different tones of themselves.
For the Northern Lights design, I would suggest cutting out some of the colors such as yellow and purple and instead focusing on bringing out the colors most associated with the Northern Lights, like green, blue, indigo, etc. I would change the purple floaty thing to a much darker purple as well as making it more blue. I would also switch out the yellow as I feel it muddles the design a bit.

Now all you need to do hon, is swap out one of the suggested change images you have, for one of his so he can see a side by side comparison of what you are referencing. Then you are good to go. Simple switch with a copy and paste.
