I'm new here, and I kinda confuse what gender is which in battle at times. I catch something thinking I could breed it since it matches the colors of another pet in my stables, and then I find out that they are both the same gender. So how about displaying which gender the wild enemy pets are with their battle info (like with the stars and rarity)? It would be much easier on pets that don't have as much obvious gender differences. That would be the easiest solution. Either that or release an item that can change the pet's gender if it hasn't already been released.

a) there is already a Philter that lets you swap pet gender (Diamond Shop philter: Philter of Gender Swapping)
b) you can just... copy the pet's image url and paste it in the generator, which will tell you what gender it is?
c) if the pet has been scanned with a Genetic Scanner you can see its gender that way

Copying and pasting the url is kinda obscure a bit. I didn't know that. And I saw that item later, but I don't have diamonds to correct it so I'm trying to sell them off, release them if I have to to get rid of the mistakes I've made based on what I thought was their gender.
And I'll just shut up and keep to myself if suggesting a more easy way is a hassle.

I had a similar problem when I was a newer user... I remember being unable to see the difference between male and female on some species.
Things I've learned along the way:
-You can always reference the generator to see gender (males on the left, females on the right)
-Once you get more familiar with the art, the differences will become more obvious (e.g. qitari look really similar to me, but the male has a beard)
No need to stay quiet... this seems to be a real concern/problem for you, so I don't think there's any shame in asking for help or trying to suggest a change.

I was that way too. It was more with the Kelparis before they had their revamp though. I had to look at them in the generator and then click on their profile to make sure the gender was either male or female. The pets look up will also tell you below their stats and information.

This is a simple way I do it.
Males tend to look to the left but * I forgot * sometimes flip.
Then for females, it's the other way around
You can learn this way, it's seems to be easy for me because I'm used to knowing which is which. If you learn this way all you do is look at it and then know :)
Or what you can do is use a gender-swapping. Other than that I can't think of anything else.
Sorry If I'm not that helpful

What I meant in the sometimes flip is in battle they face you? I couldn't remember if they do.

The male images are flipped in battle so that they look like they're actually fighting you and not just... standing there.
It is true that, on their pages/in the generator, all males face the same way and all females face the same way. But that doesn't really help in battle, unfortunately.
