Here's my party: One's a themed, one's a max stat, and one's a epic/lengendary (that manages to look great even without dyes) so the stakes are higher (considering I'll basically be burning money when they die 'cause I'll be releasing them). I haven't done much yet, besides naming them (and mutating the tamed), but the first zone I'll go into is Viridian Meadows (so they don't die their first battle haha). I'll be using a RNG for the proficiency points. (btw, if you don't want to be pinged by me PM me or reply to this)

Essence is a nice variation of the monkey See, Monkey Do! I'll add it to the list. It's a shame about one of your pets dying, but keep going!

and i'm adding this rule to my run (and in retrospect to my previous run):

Glitched Out Of Existence: If your hardcore party dies, and the entire run fails, release all other sylesties or egglings captured within that run.

This is extremely frustrating

Second time I've DIED at the same level in the game. To be fair I wasn't really liking my pets anyway. They weren't enjoyable to play.

Also when using caught pets with bad stats and no armour there seems to a nasty point when your pets get to level 25. They're too high a level to get experience from the Nightfall Bandit Camp, but they're so vulnerable that they can die in the dungeon (enemies are level 29) and are highly susceptible to death in the beginning of umbra forest

I'm surprised you're saying there is a level gap. While I know the dungeon jumps to level 29, I thought Faerina's Shrine was a lvl 25 area (at least it was last time I checked...)?

Probably still tough with no/bad gear, but should be the right level at least!

I suspect that lvl 50 will have a gap now though! DoTF used to be the lvl 50 area, but now it is lvl 60... so I don't think there is a lvl 50-55 zone...

the shrine is for level 25's but my first lot of lvl 25's got wiped out by 3, 3 star qitari D:
