I'm looking forward to the lg opening up...

I've decided to refresh my main teams, and have replaced a few with prettier pets. I really dont think I'd have the patience to level a fresh pet up to 75! So I'm picking pets now that I'll be happy to stick with...

But it means that my main teams are low ranked now! So I'm trying to get them up to scratch before the next stage opens. I had forgotten how tough the lg is with rank 1s, even with vinethorn! I tackled elaine today, and had to use so many elixirs...

If they are all lvl 70, at least rank 2 in all skills plus rank 3 in beam for my light pet, I should be fine. That is my goal. However, Krin did recommend rank 3 parties to tackle the new named when I asked...

I suspect the new section will be ridiculously difficult at first (like the lg, or the lvl 70 jump were), but then get really easy after a while. With new legendary equipment and (maybe?) rank 5s unlocked, it should get easy after a while.

Krin always said that the Lost Grove was supposed to be a "challenge for all players"...

To be fair to Krin though, there are already easier sections (like the sprites and druids), harder sections (like Elaine), and medium difficulty (like the site). Also, while rank 1 is still difficult, rank 2 is twice as easy, and higher ranks even more so.

Rank 4 ppl with crafted vinethorn equipment breeze through Elaine! If it wasn't super difficult, they would get bored from it being to easy! For others, there is a range of difficulty levels and now even the named have separate spawns so ppl can choose the difficulty to battle.

Pickles I completely forgot about my promise. Would you like the bulb ?

My party made it to level 36 ! I've tentatively started running the Nightfall Bandit Dungeon for exp and items...

Trash mobs are level 29, bosses before Lord Talon are about level 30.

NOTE: we're leaving Lord Talon alone because he's really tough for a WYSIWYG Items/low stat party. He'd wreck us even at level 36. I might attempt him when my pets get to level 40 (or higher - I think he's level 35 ??? Can anyone confirm his level?)

We're battle banning the bulb (not releasing it) and we'll catch the first sylesti we find to fill the spot. All the items go to the pet.
