This was ever so helpful for me. I found with my sylestis that I had to redistribute the points I'd spent as I spend fairly evenly, but once their NATURAL score was above 200, I had no issues with completing this quest. (Sylestis are ~ level 45)

Though the things never did light up for me.

xD I started translating the script myself from scratch and now I can read ancient sylestian -sigh- Only if other foreign languages were just as easy to learn lol

To clarify as to why "breaking" seals are weakening the boss, I figured you're not "breaking" them but rather "activating" them which would make sense as to why seals would be weakening the boss.

When do you start finding the seals?

I've tried around 3 times to do this quest the way it was said to be done, but none of the orbs glowed and the boss kills me quickly. I am fighting with 3 level 50+ pets T_T

Apparently the pets you use on the seals have to be at least lvl 40

When I used my mission pets, must were just under lvl 40 so I was unable to activate the seals until they leveled up to at least 40.

My pets all have stats over 200 now, but only with equipment. The only seal that would break for me was Perception (which was the one stat my pet does have a natural 200+ in). So apparently I need to redo some proficiency points and work some missions to get the rest of the pets on board!

If anyone was curious. Perception is the seal that gives Desius his undead helper buff.

None of the seals broke for me and I followed this format:

Alacrity is to agility
as
Courage is to strength
as
Cunning is to dexterity
as
Perception is to intelligence

My pets are lvl 47 each and still having trouble with this. The potions don't really heal much, am I missing a shop somewhere that sells something that heals more than just 400 at a time? Dasius was alone this round, yet it made this no less difficult. I only broke one seal <probably perception as noted above> so, with three lvl 47 pets <one tank, one mage, one fighter> I was still unable to kill him, didn't even get him down to half, not even close! I am going to have to grind my Sylesties to 60 on the invasions to have a chance at this. :/

I can't get it. I have read through this whole topic and translated all that stuff but I ca't get it. I just made a new topic with the things I tried.
