I'm curious; given the combo of tank-support-damage is available with both int and str variants, what are the primary strengths and weaknesses of each type?

I've been using an int team mostly, but am considering trying a str-based group. Anyone else have any advice in such an attempt? Or are light-fire-shadow clearly superior to their str counterparts?

I use light-wind-earth and that works if im dealing with a tough hard to kill guy that deals lots of damage. I use light-wind-wind if I go agenst someone with low damage and high health to nock them down fast

I think it is more player play style preference than anything. I know a lot of people love the earth tank, but I have yet to enjoy it despite trying it at several levels. I currently use a water tank, which I love, but I know a lot of people have tried it and hate it. I had a shadow tank for a long time, but prefer the water tank.

As for fire vs air, fire is certainly nice with multiple enemies but air hits single enemies much harder. When I am fighting a boss I want air so I can knock out single threats quicker. If I ever manage to get my main water/air/light group maxed out on abilities I will definitely get a fire pet maxed as well.

Light really does not have any competition when it comes to healing so can not really say it has a counterpart. :-P

Some enemies are int-based (like battlemages), and usually have weaker defense against str attacks. A str team would be much stronger than an int team against them (but would also take more damage).

Other enemies are str based and its the opposite (int teams do better but take more damage).

Because they are usually mixed up, I like to have a balanced team of both int and str.

But to be honest, I find the special abilities of each element more important than int vs. str (which is why I'm trying to level two separate teams to cover different situations).

Shadow: best agility tank
Earth: best health tank
Water: best defense, especially with bosses, weak healing
Light: best healing, amazing with ordinary mobs
Fire: best attack against 3+ enemy battles
Air: best attack against solo enemies

If you really want to separate it into int/str (or magical/physical), I find that a physical team has better options against elite/named/bosses, while a magical team has more options to quickly move through lots of ordinary mobs. (but its still a bit of a generalisation)
