With that in mind, I decide to eat a whole leg of the deer. That should keep me fed for another day at least. The rest I'll pack up and preserve for tomorrow.
As soon as me and Branch are finished breakfast, we'll head back into the town to sell the furs. I'll keep the antlers for now; I could maybe carve them into something useful later. If I have the time to learn how to.

There's two people, one behind the counter and one leaning on the counter looking bored.

I wander the shelves a bit, looking around to see if any of the titles strike me.

I set down the treat gently, and slowly step backwards, enough for the dragon to step forward and eat it, and still far enough so I don't spook it. Poor dragon. I wish i could help it not be scared.

"It's all right." I cooed, and took another step back.

Content with the healthy weight of my gold and my full stomach, I decide that Branch deserves a bit of one of the large dragon biscuits for helping me hunt. He showed just how much skill he already had with hunting, which will prove to be useful for days to come.

Building my skills while I can will be critical for venturing out into the Dragonverse. I'll split the rest of my day up to spend some time further developing my archery skills, my healing/herb knowledge and my fighting skill. I'm also going to encourage Branch to build up his skills to alongside me. I don't mind what, so long as we can both do things and defend ourselves better.
