(really? Thats super cool! I've been meaning to get into rock climbing but unfortunetly won't have time till the summer >.<)
You drop back down on the ground but notice something is different

They seem to be beautiful purple, star shaped flowers. And whatever crushed them seems to have gone away already.

I wonder what it is. I put my guard up, and assemble my senses.
(To self. Marching up and down in front of senses. Okay, Hearing, listen up. Sight, keep a look out. Gut, follow your instincts. Touch... Stops in front of the sense labeled 'Touch'. Just do what you do. Yeah, I think I'm ready for whatever comes next. [Sorry. I make the worst jokes + puns ever. Sometimes I get carried away with them sometimes... xD] Anyway, onward we go in Dragonverse (Revamp #2).)
They seem to be beautiful purple, star shaped flowers. And whatever crushed them seems to have gone away already.
"Hmph," I grunt, but I'm not giving up that easily.
I double check for tracks; if the creature was heavy enough to leave behind these crushed flowers, there might be footprints and a trail to follow.

You find some footprints they are headed in the direction you were going but suddenly stop, the creature seeming to have taken flight.

You see some large claw marks on the ground. and a little ways away you see a huge hulking figure, it seems to be sleeping

I creep up to it, but pick up a stone. It can be dangerous. But, if it's friendly, I can talk things over with it. Right. (Giving myself a pep-talk. Crazy, simply me.)
