Diana looked really sad, giving you puppy raccoon eyes but she listened, scuttering back to you, tugging on your legs again. Narrator reminds you that you do not have sufficient points in your Medical skill, but you are free to try anything you wish. As you look away from Diana, you catch a glimpse around the room again. As familiar as the room looks, something seems off.

She sighed, but when she felt something was off her heart started pounding and her eyes widened, glancing around the room quickly, straining her eyeballs. She looked not only for what had changed, but also a weapon. Or something to defend herself. She felt fear welling up inside of her.

You're in a room so there's plenty of things you could use for weapons. You could break something for a makeshift weapon, too. Although, whatever was wrong with the room didn't seem too dangerous.

April, as a paranoid soul, grabbed whatever she could. She didn't want to break anything so she tried to take a kitchen knife or something

You're in a bedroom so there wasn't any knife for you to take. There was a fruit basket with fruit in it, some plates, and a fork, butterknife, and spoon form your breakfast. Diana seemed to have already scuttled out of the room, leaving you alone for the time being.

"Shhhhhh." A voice hissed from behind you. Very closely behind you, and since you were sitting on the bed, they must be on the bed as well.

The hairs on the back of her neck raised up and she felt a shiver down her spine. She sat deady still, not wanting to turn around but also wanting to reach for the butterknife. She felt sweat from the stress trickle down her head, she swore she'd been downstairs before. April tried to calculate how close they were.

You got the butter knife with no problem. Either whoever was behind you didn't see you get it or they didn't mind.
They giggled, and from that sound and the shushing you'd heard before, you could figure out that they were close. Extremely close, and you could feel breaths of air against the back of your neck.

She gulped, she was scared. She tried to lash out with her elbow and shove it into them, turn and then pin them down without doing any serious damage.

When you lashed out, you feel them move, but you did manage to clip them a bit. By then, they were out of your reach so when you turned around they'd already backed away to the other side of the bed.
Who you saw surprised you a bit.

She gulped, staying silent as they wished but still baring the knife nervously. her eyes widened, did she know this person? Her heart pounded, she was still scared none the less. She was glad they'd backed off, though, she felt less nervous. Now she had to hope she hadn't scared them into fighting.
