He held back his growl, she was surely harmless. He felt a slight clenching of his gut in fear at her closeness in age to a pup, but nothing more. She was not a tiny, squirming, helpless pup. He shivered slightly at the thought.
*Besides me, no.* he barked stiffly, *Why do you ask?* He eyed her warily as he rose to a sitting position. Was she alone? Was she in a pack? Where were her family?

She trots over happily and noses around, deciding it's safe she crawls in and soon you hear her snuffling about, "Yes this will do nicely." she calls out happy. "Do you have any bedding? I'm going to start clearing out any extra debris in the den!" she says, rehearing rolling a rock between her paws.

"We'll find some." I assure her then motion to Mimosa "Go collect some moss and bracken for Okatvian. I'll do the same. Just make sure you stay alert. We don't know the area well."
