1. Have you been a victim of design theft?
Yes
2. Have you participated in design theft?
No
3. Have you first-hand witnessed design theft?
No
4. Would you like to be pinged for contests on this thread?
Yes
5. Have you dealt with design theft that you were not a victim of (i.e. told the designer, politely asked the thief to stop, etc.)?
No
6. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft?
I find it very rude, even if it has different traits. I feel like there's no way to stop it. Basically it makes me pretty mad sometimes but we can't really do anything about it. I feel like players should ask before copying a design.

1. Have you been a victim of design theft? Yes. My recent *Death* related line was copied just today.
2. Have you participated in design theft? No. Why would I?
3. Have you first-hand witnessed design theft? Other than watching MY design be stolen, no.
4. Would you like to be pinged for contests on this thread? Yes
5. Have you dealt with design theft that you were not a victim of (i.e. told the designer, politely asked the thief to stop, etc.)? I tried.
6. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft? Obviously I'm opposed. People work really hard to create stunning Sylesti creatures and deserve the credit. It is hurtful to but the their pride and reputation when someone else takes the credit.

1. Have you been a victim of design theft? No- but I have my concerns, due to me creating many designs and putting them as public designs on the generator- I worry that someone may steal them.
2. Have you participated in design theft? No! I'd never do that!
3. Have you first-hand witnessed design theft? nope- not yet.
4. Would you like to be pinged for contests on this thread? Sure! I love making designs!
5. Have you dealt with design theft that you were not a victim of (i.e. told the designer, politely asked the thief to stop, etc.)? Not yet- but then again- I am concerned about it. As on my current threads
6. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft? That it should not occur whatsoever- and that people who do steal designs should get warnings from the admins of this site.

1. Have you been a victim of design theft? Yes
2. Have you participated in design theft? yes, once Accidentally
3. Have you first-hand witnessed design theft? Yes
4. Would you like to be pinged for contests on this thread? Yes
5. Have you dealt with design theft that you were not a victim of (i.e. told the designer, politely asked the thief to stop, etc.)? No
6. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft? I think it's wrong and rude, and it should never be done. I know I work hard on my designs and I would hate for them to be stolen.. but I do know that the people who do steal whether on purpose or accidentally aren't bad people and it's always important to be kind and love everyone.

**the accidentally was because I got inspired by a couple of designs (by different people) but I didn't realize the colors were so similar even though it was a different species.. and obviously I took it down

2. Have you participated in design theft?
No never

3. Have you first-hand witnessed design theft?
Asside from mine not realy.

4. Would you like to be pinged for contests on this thread?
Yea sure

5. Have you dealt with design theft that you were not a victim of (i.e. told the designer, politely asked the thief to stop, etc.)?
I never had to deal with that type of thing yet.

6. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft?
It should not happen, there is plenty of others way to get around the issue of not being able to make a designe that you juge good. You can seak help or make a game out of it or in the worst case senario where the people want a perticular designe, message the creator of that designe and ask them if it's possible to make a project out of it / buy an offspring of the project.

(For the four applicators I've not yet replied to. If you weren't pinged, please ignore)

Hello all, thank you for applying. I apologize for the time it has taken me to respond; school and skating (mostly school) have been taking up quite a lot of my time in the past few months. I have unfortunately still not delved into checking for design thefts and such for all of you, but as break is coming up soon, I estimate I'll be able to reply sometime next week. Sorry for the additional wait, and thank you for your patience.

Hello all, I'm sorry I haven't done anything with the Opposition in a very long time. I'm hoping I can come up with a more organized system of doing things in this group, so it may be a bit longer before I post again. I feel like when I first created this group, I focused on stopping design theft, but not really thinking about a solid approach to collecting ideas and holding contests and such. Hopefully, I can revamp everything to be more efficient and organized. Ideas and opinions are welcome.

For those who entered the contest, sorry for the wait; I will ping you with results on Sunday (sorry about the additional wait also).

6. What are your feelings and opinions about design theft? It shouldnt be done. At the most you can use another design for inspiration but stealing someones work is a horrible thing to do.

Question: I have this Lunemara pair that is quite pretty but I bought them from someone else and they look like theyd were designed. I havent sold any of there offspring for fear that it would be fraudulent. What should I do?
