Alpha shifted her gaze from the camp to the shadowy figure in the woods. He nose told her "bird", but also told her "unknown". Unable to recognize the scent of experimentation, Alpha flattened her ears, uneasy. The figure to her eyes did not seem to be moving, but her eyes and nose were conflicted on whether or not it could be a threat. Tak had not seen the newcomer, but Torak had caught a glimpse. Noticing Alpha's unease, he focused for a few seconds on what he believed to be a Nytekrie. The battle-hardened elf readied himself to lunge, either at the camp or the Nytekrie, in case it proved to be a threat.

Azaroth's uneasiness was stifling. The echoes of a low growl resounded in the camp, and beings seemed to stir in the nearby shadows. Releasing one hand from his sword, he snatched a burning branch from the flame and waved it through the air.
His heart skipped a beat as two dark, beady eyes reflected its orange light. Although he was wanted for many crimes and had earned a dark reputation, he was not the bravest bandit in the Enigmatic Grotto.

Tak reared up his hind legs at the sight of flame, bellowing a territorial roar. The warpainted Morkko stood as high as a troll on his hind limbs, with muscles to match. Long fangs glinted in the firelight as he stretched his maw wide, while dagger-like claws flexed at his chest. Torak, alerted to Tai's alarm call, directed his sword at the camp, ready to charge. Alpha once again directer her focus to the camp, creeping closer.

Koko barked a bit looking at the fire where there was most likely a camp there, Koko watched as the Lupora slowly creep in. She let out a low growl sensing there was something wrong, she jumped off and walked close by the Lupora's side to get a better look of what was happening.

049 (Doc)-

The nytekrie hissed as the aggressive morkko and jumped in front of the elf. He wasn't going to sit back and let the animal hurt this elf, even if he didn't know them. Despite this move, the animal made no move to attack the morkko just simply act as a shield to the elf.

Tak was many times the size of the Nytekrie, but he and Torak both could tell by the way it behave it was certainly not tame. The older elf ordered Tak to simply move around, as his target was what Torak now identified as a Dark Elven outlaw. He then ordered Alpha to make a passing dash near the Nytekrie, aiming to distract it while Tak skirted around. Whistling, Torak called for Darkhoof to gallop to his aid.

Wailing like a child at the explosion of action, Azaroth scrambled from his apparent three or four attackers. Gathering his wits, he heaved the smoldering torch at the morkko, which seemed to be the most threatening out of the three. He dodged sparks as the wood made contact with its thick fur. While it did little damage, it gave him a precious moment to snatch his bag and scramble onto the lower branches of a tree. From this vantage point, he would be able to use his bow while staying mostly out of danger.

Spotting the puffadore brought the lupora to his attention also, and near it, a humanoid figure. As the blazing fire flicked, he caught a glimpse of its face--Another elf? Had this one been sent from the Sanctuary to find him? He notched an arrow and carefully aimed for the head, then to the foot. He shouldn't kill them, just stun them. Make them call off their sylestis. He hesitated as the man moved, not wanting to miss.
