Torak carefully petted the young sylesti, now careful not to wake her as he carried her slowly back to Darkhoof. Wrapping her in a blanket and setting her carefully among the saddlebags, Torak again turned his attention to the camp, ordering Alpha to approach as quietly as she could to get a better view.

Koko was nearly invisible in the night because of her dark fur in some places, but her neon blue and royal purple colored fur seemed to glow in the night. A breeze gently went past her, she woke up from the sudden coldness. She woke up in a blanket, she silently wiggles out of the blanket. As she stood up she looked at her scars that were less serious from her deep scar in her leg, she licked at her scars to clean the blood off of it.

Torak stood guard over the injured sylesti, warily directing his attention to the surrounding wilds. Night had fallen, and the trolls liked to leave their caves to hunt at night. He caught sight of movement out of the corner of his eye, and honed in on a lone Myconid trampling through the underbrush. A Myconid Spore, nothing too dangerous or worth worrying about, headed quickly towards Faerina's Shrine. Further away, a pair of Vorkid Drones foraged for food. Glancing around again, he whistled for Alpha and Tak to follow him as he lead Darkhoof toward the mouth of the large, and now empty, troll cave.

When Koko finished cleaning her wounds, she looked up to see they left for the cave. She decided to follow them, she didn't catch up but close enough she fell down tired panting as she was not used to running because she was pampered and her wound in her leg. She got up a few minutes later running after them.

*sorry for my inactivity last night!*

Azaroth glanced up at the sound of the splintering branch. It was too large, too deliberate to be one of the foul creatures native to the Grotto. He stood up slowly, a new wariness in the way he scanned the clearing. He reached for his stolen sword and whiteknuckled it, as if this action might bring him some comfort.

The night was eery, with no help from the rather hostile beings that roamed the lands. As the wind blew against the trees their leaves whispered the deepest secrets in the land, all in a tongue not even they knew. There was a slight chill in the air, one that chilled a being right down to the bone though it seemed not to deter the nytekrie from wandering about. There was sickness here, all around him. Despite his best efforts though he was unable to help the souls that were infected with this reanimational spell. The simplest thing one could do was put the pacient out of thei misery but hitting them in the head. Tonight he was doing such, he was laying to rest the restless. But something else lingered in the air...smoke. It was a fire, a well contained fire that was beaconing him towards it. The flames spoke of a promised warmth that could ease the chill from his dark body. He was well hidden in fact due to this though the red glow from his eyes gave away any position he took up. The animal cared not though, nothing here was a threat to him. If he should become injured he could heal himself. Smoke wasn't the only thing he smelled though. Blood. Not much but some. Blood was a calling card to him, someone needed healing. Still padding forward the large bird like animal made way towards the camp. He seemed not to care that there was anyone else about, his mind was on the warmth of the fire, and the blood on the ground. Breaking through the brush about the camp he looked about the clearing. An elf. It had been some time since he had seen one of them. This wasn't the injured pacient though for there was no sense of pain here save for what lay in the belly of the camps occupant. Even this close though the fire seemed to warm him, causing the feathers about his body to puff out some to trap the warm air in. The whole time the creature's eyes moved not from the elf, it wasn't in fear no he made no indication that he was scared but rather in a watchful manner.

Darkhoof remained on high alert as Torak stooped down to aid the young Puffadore back onto the Qatari's saddle. Tak circled back around to watch the camp, forcefully snapping another branch in the process. Alpha, meanwhile, focused her gaze off to the side of the camp, eyes trained on a dark, feathered figure in the woods. Continuing his path to the cave entrance, the older elf made certain his sword lay fastened around his waist in it's scabbard, ever mindful of potential danger.

Certain now that he was being watched, Azaroth spun in a tight circle, sweeping the trees with his turqoise eyes.
"Who goes there?" he demanded, voice rough to disquise his growing anxiety.

Tak continued circling the camp, snapping another branch as he drew further from the trail. Assuming a territorial posture, the Morkko uttered a low growl. Torak focused his attention once again on the camp, commanding Darkhoof to retreat into the cave. Alpha watched from the bushes, on the opposite side of the camp from Tak, waiting silently for her master's command.

How had he not been seen? He was standing right next to the fire. Well not right next to it, he was a bit father back, closer to the brush though still his eyes must have been visible. The animal stayed still as he watched the elf.
