Stepping slowly forward, Alpha poked her nose into the bush, catching strong Scent of Puffadore. Ever more curious, as Puffadores are almost never found in the wild unattended, Alpha indicated to Torak what species was hiding in the bush. Slightly confused, Torak pulled out a list of missing Sylesties, with the aim of finding a lost Puffadore. Before reading it, he instructed Alpha to carefully and gently extract the Puffadore from the bush.

Koko attempted to jump to another bush but to a deep scar in her leg she fell down mid jump sliding near the bush she yelped in pain.

Startled and concerned, Alpha drew back with a yelp. Peering at the clearly badly wounded Puffadore in front of her, she took a few steps back and indicated for Torak to step in. The older elf stepped forward slowly, using what was hopefully a non-threatening posture. Cooing gently, he got close enough to get a good look at the gash in the young female's leg. To Torak, it looked quite severe, and would quickly worsen if not treated soon. As slowly and gently as he could, he took a cloth and attempted to wrap it around the injured Puffadore's leg.

Koko started to struggle not knowing that they are trying to help her, she attempted to get up and run away.

Torak increased his efforts at looking harmless, and whistled for Alpha to resume her post. He fished around in his satchel for a Sylesti treat, which he then offered to calm the clearly distressed Puffadore. As he inched closer, he began to search for a collar or other form of identification tag, all the while still attempting to bandage the injury.

Koko stopped struggling as much still struggling a little bit, her "collar" was only a necklace with teeth and claws on it and a raven skull on it. Some bits were gold plated other parts were not because they weared off she was clearly a former royal Puffadore. She nipped at the sylesti treat.

Offering another treat, Torak drew closer still, quickly realizing this Puffadore was by no means on his list of missing sylesties. From the bone necklace, he concluded, this must be a higher breed of Puffadore, possibly a royal. This only added to his confusion, curiosity, and concern. How could such a prized Puffadore be this lost here of all places? How long had she been gone? Alternatively, had her parents escaped with her being born wild? With so many questions, and no answers, Torak did his best to bind the wound, then aimed to scoop her up in his arms. She would need to be taken back to safety, as Puffadores couldn't hunt in the wild without training, and had many predators.

Koko nipped at the treat, her fur was a mess it was covered in leafs and sticks. She had been in the woods for awhile, she silently stared at the fire in the entrance of the grotto but looked away soon after. She wagged her tail around shaking some leafs off of it.

Torak continued to hand out treats to the Puffadore from his satchel as he attempted to pick her up. A few feet away, Alpha continued to stare at the camp and it's occupant, clearly smelling his stale food. Snarling, Tak circled the camp until he was on the opposite side, where he purposefully snapped a large branch.

Koko nibbled at the treats and then jumped into the arms of the elf, she silently fell asleep tired from the trip to the grotto.
