LOL! I did't post those right.... my Light would be in the middle (Tank), and the Winds would be on her sides. When I first had it set, I did mess up and put the Wind in the middle (as I keep forgetting that when I set up the Party, the FIRST pet becomes the middle (Tank)).
The Archon equipment focuses on Intel and Dex, so I got my Dex as high as I can with her.

Edit: I am actually looking forward to trying again tomorrow! I think I will play with the equipment a bit.... and see what happens!

The biggest downside to the earth/buffer/healer build is that it's not the most efficient in terms of offense. It does take more turns to beat the bosses, but for me it's nice to have the confidence that my pets won't faint ^-^

I'm really interested in that offensive build though. I'm not sure how well it would work for my non-maxed parties but once my stat puffs are finished I'm definitely going to try it! ^-^

I am thinking that to get the Ny'vene egg.... we will need a strong offensive team. Speed of defeating Vierna maybe the key to the possibility of an egg. But I may try your build for zone fighting. I am already training up some Ny'venes to try them out!

Oh, really?? I thought it was just random! Maybe I'll have to try out an offensive build sooner than I planned...

But the sturdiness of my earth tank really amazes me still, lol. Just finished the Vierna battle today and this is what my party looked like, no elixirs! :D If anyone's looking to be conservative with consumables I highly recommend this build! =w=)b
I'll stop showing off now, haha. I'm still excited about how useful Earth has become!!

It is just my guess, going by what Krin said:

"-Rumors are that Vierna is breeding Ny'vene down in the dark dungeon. Clear the entire Dungeon and swiftly defeat Vierna for a chance at obtaining one of these Ny'vene for your own!"

I figured on top of having to beat all the bosses, we have to "swiftly" defeat Vierna. I could be wrong, but it would be great if people start posting their moves needed for defeating Vierna.... and the loot they get. Maybe we can figure out a base for the egg.

My original team (before the change) always had an earth tank.... they are monster tanks! I do love Earth for tanks! I have never used an Ice before, so that will be something to try!

Congrats on your defeat of Vierna!

Okay.

So I killed Vierna in 24 turns with my current team set up just now. And I feel like this was faster/more efficient than when I got the egg from her.

Vierna part 1 lasted 11 turns (I used the 2nd abilities on her when my mana got to 50).

then as soon as she turned into the shade, I used the second abilities on her again, bringing my pets to 10 mana. Then I attacked the shade until I got to 30 mana, then I used finishing blow. I repeated this last step until she was dead.

(edit: I didn't need to use an elixir this time)

Just finished today's dungeon run....

Took me 26 turns to beat Vierna, I used the same method as you, Amarok. I got a couple bad hits in the first part and had to use elixirs. Second part was pretty good, hit till I got 50 mana and do the second elemental attack. Repeated that, instead of doing a finishing blow. But, I probably will do a finishing blow after the elemental attack... not sure yet.

I was so geeked..... my prize was "un-named".... turned out to be a tamed sylvorpa! Dang Vierna is a huge tease! Still no new items either.... can't wait till tomorrow's run!

****** - yeah when I got my egg I got the message 'Un-named has been added to hatchery' (or something like that) and I yelled at the screen lmao. That sucks Gryph XD - good luck for tomorrow.

I haven't found any of the nice relics yet...Maybe tomorrow.

"Rumors are that Vierna is breeding Ny'vene down in the dark dungeon." ...

... Pff. Can't we just go down into the dungeon and take all the eggs at once?

Seems she is breeding tamed Sylvorpa as well.... tomorrow I will be more sneaky for that Ny'vene egg that she is supposed to be breeding!
We should be able to just run down that dungeon and snatch them all up! You are so right, Amarok!
