Keon looked off the dock, there were a couple of ships anchored. He wasn't really sure what one looked suitable for his inexperience so he decided to board one where he had seen a couple of creatures approach lately. Looking the up at the stars, Keon rethought this decision, did he really want to go travelling the seas like his father had? Of course, he's wanted to since a pup. With that thought he fixed his belt, bounded up the gangway, and padded onto the ship.

Whisper wondered around the ship she saw the young nixi and walked over, "Hi I'm Whisper," she said. The least she could do was make some friends. Whisper looked into the distance and wondered what they would find in the adventures ahead. She had been working up for this for years and she was not going too fail. Whisper knew she was going to make the best of this.

Sara~female~ The North Star

There was too many new faces for her to fully see whom everyone was. There was a lot of nixies, and most of the new crew seemed to be female. Strange. With a huff as she was soon forgotten out of her conversation she marched up to the wheel of the ship. This like it had with the captain gave her a good vantage point to speak out across the ship. Widening her stance some she let out an eerie howl in hopes to silence the ship. Once she had the crew's attention she adressed them. "Listen up! Now I know ye all be excited, who wouldn't be, but ye all need to get to work if we are ta ever leave port! The main priority now be that we get the ship loaded so we can get movin'! See them thar crates on ta docks? All of them need ta be on ta ship before we settle down for ta night. Understand?" Sara barked her ears back meaning she meant business. "Tan get ta work!" Her accent was broken in places, clearly she had not always been a pirate but had taken up the tongue.

Tulio~male~ The North Star

He growled before chasing after Crystal. Once she was up on the mast he stood at the bottom giving her hell about what she had done. His bark was that like a small dog, short and high pitched. "Give it back! Your little rodent hands aren't meant to touch it!" He went on. "It's a priceless family heirloom that means more than the world!" Little did she know that he was the only one whom could read it. Even if she did look at it she would be unable to understand it.

Not bothering to waste time him called back aloud the quartermasters order. "You heard the lady, lads n' lasses. Let's get those supplies aboard ship, if you want to eat, ye need to beat paws and haul'em up with everbody else!" He then looked down at Tulio not far from him. "That means you too tender foot." Crystal couldn't help but smile as Byrd gave Tulio his first hard lesson at sea. She stuffed the map inside her shirt where gentlebeasts wouldn't disrespect a female then scurried over to the main mast itself. She saw Byrd heading to the main deck cargo hatch and climbed up a little ways to the yard boom winch so they could save the backs of a few of their mateys. "Hey Spotty, follow them nixi's down ta the wharf and make ready to he'p load the cargo net. Tulio, stop yer blubberin' aboot yon map, tis safe n' sound fer now. Make ready to check de block when I lower the yard arm so Byrdie ken set the cargo net!" She ordered the little puffadore like it was second nature. Lastly she hollered out to the crew. "Don't worry about formin' a chain line yet crew. The mate n' I'll have the boom o'er soon. Get ta no each other fer the moment, an' keep yer eyes peeled fer some unsav'rys bum uglies we bumped inta earlier!" Much of the activity was too loud to permit anyone to catch a wink of sleep, though it was certain to be music to the ears of the captain if he was sober enough to pay attention.
